Acme Studios Rocket Hero Limited Edition Roller Ball Pen Review: Great pen for Space geeks - When I saw this pen, I knew I would have to get one. I tried to buy it at the local pen store, but they had no stock. I found it on desertcart back in 2014, and was happy to get it. It was made to honor the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing. I gave it prominent place this year with the 50th anniversary. I bought the fountain pen conversion unit for it, and use it as a fountain pen. I just filled it with a sample of Colorverse Saturn V, and am taking it to pen club this evening. It is a beautiful pen with the famous photo Neil Armstrong took of Buzz Aldrin on the Moon. The cap has the CSM and LM in docking mode. It has red text which reads “The Apollo 11 mission was the first manned mission to land on the Moon. Launched on July 16, 1969, it carried Commander Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, and Lunar Module Pilot Buzz Aldrin. On July 20, Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to land in the Moon, while Collins orbited above. Upon taking his first steps in the 1/6 gravity onto the lunar dust, Aldrin uttered “Magnificent desolation.” Celebrate space exploration with rocket hero Buzz Aldrin.” This is a must have pen for those who love Space. Review: but the idea of the pen is terrific. - The narrative on the cap doesn't really work so well, but the idea of the pen is terrific.

Great Service
Great Pen and service from vendor. Like alsways the Acme pen is just as good as I expected. I have approximately 45-50 Acme pens and I have never been disappointed with any item. The only disappointment I have is trouble finding very popular limited edition pens.

Buy one. hold it for posterity and pass it along to your grandchildren. A beautiful artistic rendering of Buzz on the Moom; a product that he endorsed and should be proud of, given it's quality.
