Diamond Select Toys Marvel Ultimate Hulk Action Figure

I got this Hulk for my friend's son who is absolutely obsessed with The Hulk. I gave it to him for his 7th birthday and out of all of his toys, it was his favorite!...and that's saying a lot, considering the array of presents he got! He has about 12 other Hulks in his collection, and prior to getting this one, the Red Hulk was his favorite (his favorite color is red). Now, The Ultimate Hulk is his new favorite. While he knows the Hulk story and has just about every Hulk book (although not the comics), DVD (from the TV show series), and every movie, he was not familiar with The Ultimate Hulk. Upon reading him the back of the box about the new grey Hulk, he's completely obsessed with learning more! I'm really impressed with the detail and craftsmanship on this Hulk. He has several joints at the arms that allow him to move and pivot in different ways. Several of the joints on the Hulk also rotate like a ball joint. My friend's son also loves wrestling and loves to make his Hulks wrestle. The level of mobility on this Hulk makes him a perfect candidate for wrestling! From the initial feel, then product is also very durable. My friend's son also has the Red Hulk from this same collection, and that Hulk has proven to be durable throughout play as well. Overall, I definitely recommend this item. It's perfect for a collector or a kid looking to add a new Hulk to his play collection!

Totally awesome, my son loves this Hulk. The detail is phenomenal and the structure is sturdy. This is not a flimsy little toy. It is quite beefy and has a little weight to it. The color is great and is consistent throughout with veining and shadowing of the musculature. The arms and legs have a good range of movement at the shoulders and hips, but the knees and elbows are fixed. This is not a problem because movement is allowed where it counts. Although it does stand on its own, a display stand would have been nice for presentations sake. The red and green come with one so I wish this did as well. I highly recommend.

My 4 year old is going through a super hero phase and loves his hulks. So far we have the green, red and now the grey hulk. It's very well made. The arms and legs move. It's big and bulky. It's not as heavy as the red hulk but the same basic principle. Would recommend this hulk specially since it's not a bad price.

As a re-release this figure doesn't stack up next to the newer Marvel Select Figures. Ultimate Hulk is impressive looking, but compared to his counterparts Green Hulk, Red Hulk, Barbarian Hulk & Hulk Unleashed... Ultimate Hulk is very small & light with very little articulation.

These Diamond Select figures are pretty awesome. They are the way I'll go when I want a figure from here on out. And this Hulk is no exception. Great detail, and this bad boy is huge! Great item with a great price.

Okay, I'm a big Select fan but will keep this brief. This figure is an older Select that shows its age. It got a re-release, I never owned the original, but this figure is the same as that release. So what is bad? It's very hollow, almost like a rotocast figure. It not even close to the newer Hulk s from Select. Besides being hollow, the elbows cannot move, and it has almost a Mattel like crotch piece. When you move the legs the crotch look awful and unnatural. But the worst part is the left leg. As soon as I took it out the leg was VERY....VERY loose. The legs are in a bent stance also but the figure looks nice but the negatives really weigh the figure down. Three out of five, it's nice if you know what to expect. You get a nice looking figure but not on par with most Selects imo. If you can only afford one Hulk, pick a green, any green over this. BTW my most disappointing Select is Cyclops. My favorite X-Men and he was awful. Hope there is a Jim Lee Cyclops plan from Marvel Select at some point to make up for it. We have like 8 Wolverines, 8 Spider man's. and countless Hulks.

Love this figure. Brought it used but it looked brand new in the box. Love the gray shade and good detail on the figure. BIG!
