A learning experience but well worth it!
It took a little for me to "get the hang" of it. The secret is to not overfill the pockets. But it works very well, and I had never made these before. I laid them out on parchment paper and froze them, then bagged the for the freezer. Great side dish with a meal. I would recommend that you make a large batch at one time since they freeze so well. You can find some good recipes via Google.

Love it! It is the real deal!
It is the real deal. My wife is Russian and this is it! This did ship from Ukraine and I think we even got it in 10-12 days which isn't bad. I don't see any loose shavings on mine like some reviews say but if there were I would just scrub them off with a scrub brush in the sink and get over it. It looks aluminum so any shavings would break right of when washed anyway. This is the machine that makes the great tummy full of amazing stuff!! A must have item in all kitchens!

Poor quality. Metal shavings on the edges of the holes.I tried to scrub them off, but I am sure some pieces of metal will end up in the food. The edges are rough and sharp. I will not even try using it.

Unfinished product. Had sharp edges. It can cut fingers. I used a file to shave of metal splinters.

It seems solid but is 100% plastic, not metal as advertised....

Works good
Sent from Ukraine so it took a while to get here. Still within the allotted time though. Made of unknown metal. Rough metal edges I had to file down. Still does the job though:)

Authentic product...great instructions (recipe)
I grew up in Russia with my family making homemade dumplings all year round. I wanted to try the skill myself, but needed an authentic mold. This is definitely it. Took a little while to arrive from Ukraine, but totally worth the wait. I've used in within days of receiving and my dumplings are perfect. PS...the instructions included with the press are absolutely AUTHENTIC and perfect. Follow them closely and your dumplings will be amazing.

doesn't cut well. I do not recommend. We used to have one back in the day, a very heavy cast iron thing, have never had an issues with getting my pelmeni out of it. This one is largely a disappointment. I guess the low price should have been sufficiently alarming for me,
