Classic Turkish coffee with a rich, authentic flavor
I bought this Turkish coffee because I grew up drinking Turkish coffee and wanted something that tasted authentic, not watered down or overly bitter like some supermarket versions. I’ve been using it for about two weeks now, brewing it in a small cezve on the stove almost every morning. The grind is very fine, which is exactly what you want for Turkish coffee. It blooms nicely in the water and creates a thick foam if you take your time with the heat. The aroma is rich and familiar, and the flavor is bold without being harsh. It has a deep, slightly smoky profile with a smooth finish, especially when brewed slowly. I usually drink it plain or with just a touch of sugar, and it holds up well both ways. Pros: • Authentic taste and aroma • Very fine grind, ideal for Turkish coffee • Consistent quality from cup to cup • Strong but smooth, not acidic Cons: • Packaging isn’t resealable, so I transfer it to a jar Compared to other Turkish coffees I’ve tried, this one tastes more balanced and traditional. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone who enjoys classic Turkish coffee or wants a true introduction to it.

My favorite right now 😍☕
I love this coffee, the taste is great! I've bought it before and here I am again 😁 Always fresh and smooth, great grind quality, always fast delivery. Thank you, seller, for the amazing gift of kadaif sweets 🌟What a nice surprise! I recommend this product to anyone who loves Turkish coffee!

Smooth & Flavorful
This is my first experience with Turkish coffee, so take it for what it’s worth. I love to try out new coffee brewing styles and have a Gaggia Academia as my daily driver for espresso. I recently watched the YT videos and purchased a 9 oz Turkish coffee pot. I mix 2 teaspoons of coffee with each 2 ounces of water. The flavor is not quite as bold as the espresso I normally drink, but it is more smooth and not as harsh/acidic. I really like it. I can’t compare this to other Turkish coffees, but I am very pleased with the results I am getting and the price is fair. I expect I will buy it again in the future.

Without a plastic lid
Excellent coffee👍🏼 But it came to me without a plastic lid. I had to pour the coffee into another jar, so only 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My favorite choice for authentic Turkish coffee.
The "rules" say this isn't supposed to be as good as it is, but it is really realy good. I love all sorts of coffee and can talk shop with anyone. As fans even a little bit into coffee know, the golden rules of coffee say that for best results we must always use fresh roasted beans, grind them shortly before brewing, and enjoy promptly after. These rules are supposed to be applicable to every brew method; drip, Turkish, french press, etc. But of all, espresso in particular demands adherence to these tenets. Over the years, seeking the best espresso, I have even reached the point of buying green beans and roasting them at home using several different methods. As for grinding, I have a team of grinders (conical burr or flat, steel or ceramic, hand vs motor powered, you name it) ready for anything I can dream up and yes, it paid off to where I have to go to very very special places (looking at you George Howell) to get an espresso better than what I can pull at home. Getting back to Turkish though... I've found that the traditional Turkish brew method throws all that out the window. Don't get me wrong I've had very very good cups with super fresh beans, ground to baby powder perfection, but its not quite there compared to what my middle eastern friends and family have made for me. Buying coffee of unknown roasting date, that <gasp> is pre-ground, is supposed to yield worse results. Allowing the water temp to go past 95 degrees should cause nasty bitterness. Not drinking fresh-brewed coffee immediately is supposed to mean that peak flavor is being missed. Nope, not with Turkish. I can follow the technically superior methods generously shared by champion baristas of the Turkish brewing realm and yes, it's very very yummy, fantastic even. But again, what I wanted was the "people's" version. Thankfully, several grandmas have shared their methods too, and sure enough, they breake all the "rules"... they let the brew foam up, remove the foam, then foam up again (flirting with triple digit temps), then they let the cup sit for the longest five minutes you're ever had to wait for, oh, and they use preground coffee! Often, Mehmet Efendi! This coffee produces a complex profile that is spot on accurate to my memory, and I haven't been able to replicate with my own beans. This was the taste I was looking for, and I can happily say I finally figured it out. I'm glad I tried out the championship methods, since they too are fantastic, but in a different way. If what you want is to be transported to a different place and time, back to when you had coffee the traditional way. Follow the grandma's techniques, and use Mehmet Efendi.

Major Update...Brew it the Turkish Way
Really thought this would taste great like a different brand that I purchased. It's really very nasty and it is not returnable. Don't waste you money. The other brand I purchased from Israel and found it here on Amazon. It is to die for. Copy and paste this into the search engine if you want to try it. It comes in miniature packets that I just dump into a filter and pour over about a cup of water. I know that's not how you make Turkish coffee but it is soo delicious: Turkish Ground Coffee Sachets, 24 Single-Serve Sticks (7g Each) – Fine Grind Arabica & Robusta Blend – Bold Aroma – Israeli Branded, Kosher Certified - Easy Hot Water or Cezve Preparation MAJOR UPDATE: Okay, I changed my rating. Apparently, I watched a few videos on how to make Turkish coffee, even though I prefer using the packets mentioned above, as a pour over. Well, I bought this Ascend Stainless Steel Stash Away Camp Mug which has a thick coating at the bottom which makes the coffee brew much longer. Why is this important? The Turkish coffee is designed to brew to a slow boil. What a total difference in flavor! Will be buying again in the future. Okay, so I now dream about waking up to this coffee. The camping mug is much better than the cezve because you can take it for camping and the handles did not even get hot. Oh, but I still ran the brewed coffee as a filtered pour over to avoid the dregs. Amazon has a version of this coffee mug: GSI Outdoors Glacier Stainless Steel Bottle Cup I Lightweight Cup or Pot for Travel, Camping and Backpacking - 20 oz. Just copy and paste it into the search box. Enjoy!

Excellent coffee, great price
It's not been easy for me to find good Turkish coffee locally. This arrived quickly and is so, so good. I absolutely prefer the Turkish style coffee to regular coffee. Nice and strong, brews quickly in my electric Turkish coffee maker. Love, love, love! <3 Will definitely order again.
