Recommended by my wound specialist.
I first heard about these from my wound specialist to cover a spot where my stitches had opened. Seems expensive but you only need to cut a piece the size of your wound. Does not burn or fuse to skin. When taking off just getting it wet w saline removes it painlessly.

Work Very Well
These pads were invaluable to promoting healing and keeping my wound from getting infected during the healing process. The wound care people at my HMO use these and turned me on to them because they could only give me so many per visit and I wanted to have plenty on hand just in case I needed to change dressings before my next scheduled visit to the wound care clinic.

I used a 2x2 units to dress a large wound.
I have an infected blister that burst on my right heel.. I used. A Number of these bandages which have anti Rp tic. They absorbed the oozing of the wound. They are expensive so get a large 4x4” and cut it into four bandages, especially if you change the dressing daily.

Different
It's not exactly the same as the one from the hospital. The ones in the hospital are soft and bend. These are hard. You have to soak them in saline to get them to bend around a wound. They also stick a little when taking it off

Great dressing material
This is great that you can cut out the size that you need. Added to a dressing and it draws out the infection and drainage.

Hydrafera Blue
Not at all like the ones used by the doctor. This not only requires hydration but won't stay hydrated and turns rough and hard on the wound. It causes pain and irritation. For this price it should not cause pain.

Helps on the healing process
It came a day earlier than stated. Easy to cut for the wound size. A good purchase.
