Beautiful Advent Calendar
It’s beautiful! Reminds me of old Germany, where we are from. It is actually frame able. Came in good shape and right on time.

Unlike Advent calendars made in the U.S., this one has windows that open onto little images that match the context of the overall scene of the calendar. For example, when you open the door of a cottage, a woman is baking a pie in the kitchen. Steer clear of Advent calendars made in the U.S. and look for ones made in Germany, such as those made by "Richard Selmer Verlag," which have context-clever images in the numbered windows. It makes for a fun little surprise on each day of Advent.

Charming image
This lovely advent calendar has wonderful Christmas charm. I am always attracted to illustrations from German artists. I am so pleased to add this to my collection. I am adding it to the two calendars my mother bought in Germany in the 1950s. I love it.
