Asus Nexus 7 Travel Cover (Old Version), Light Gray

It fits my Nexus 7 fine, it just kind of pops over.Pros: It fits snugly, looks like it would protect it from a small fall, maybe from a coffee table or desk onto a hardwood floor, but probably not much higher than that.Cons: The auto on/off for the front cover doesn't work. My other case does so its a huge PITA. The buttons are also a bit hard to press with this case as well.If you just need something to cover your Nexus 7 go for this, but it's pretty lacking in features.

This is the Asus case that was made for the Nexus 7. It is thin and made out of sturdy material. The case does offer great protection. It closes properly and fits the N7 properly. The cutouts are in the correct place. There is no clasp or anything else that keeps it closed. This is not a problem for me but it may be a deal breaker for others. If placed in a bag it can swing open and allow things to scratch the screen. It does not have a "smart" cover therefore if you are looking at this and want one of those, this is not the product for you (smart covers puts the device to sleep when closed and awakes it when opened).The light grey looks a bit beige/tan in person. It is that weird color that looks as if it could be either one depending on the light.

I like the item, it fit my tablet just fine, unfortunately the picture looks a light gray, almost silver, which I was ok with, but when I got it the color was actually a tan color. This is the only part I don't like about ordering online; having to return items. Which is what I have to do.The Amazon sellers were very workable in getting me the right information to return the item.

The case is of a strange, rubbery material that smells odd and has noticable tearing and jagged edges around the cover. It does not impact its ability to protect the tablet, but it is definitely unsightly.In speaking of unsightly, the case I received was also of a strange beige color usually found in medical tubing; it isn't what was advertised and it doesn't suit the tablet's look at all.That being said, it does what its supposed to do -- the case fit snugly and does a decent job of protecting the tablet itself.I just wish it did it more attractively and that the advertised pictures were more accurate. I likely won't use it for anything more than a backup in case my other case breaks.

This one is not for everyone. It is basic no frills protection.It adds very little size, but does have some weight to it.If you are looking for options of a viewing stand, or the magnet to turn on when openng you will need to look elsewhere (my wife would not want this one).It has a perfect fit. The finish gives a good grip while holding it for use.While there is no locking clasp, the cover nests into the back cover when closed, so it will not fall open by accident easliy.It is exactly what I was looking for. I'm very pleased with it.

Quality case. Does what its supposed too. Wish it was magnetic and had wake/sleep capabilities. The gray is a little ugly. Good heavy duty feel though and does a good job protecting my tablet for travel.

It's simple but decent and protective. however the case itself is heavier than i expected.I think it is a great simple case to put on a tablet.

This is a poor fit for the new Nexus 7 - it may fit the older model better. The new Nexus 7 has space around the sides - but I can live with it.I am unable to press the buttons on my Nexus 7 through the buttons on the cover: I have to pull the cover off and press the button directly to get it to work.Aesthetically, the colour is horrible: an off grey, and the texture of the plastic isn't what I would expect for £20: it looks and feels cheap.The cover does provide some protection: especially for the corners and the screen (when the cover is closed). But the protection is unlikely to be adequate if the device is dropped more than a few inches. The manual for my Cannondale bicycle came in a padded & zipped pouch that provides more protection: but that is an expensive way of buying a cover for a Nexus 7.I looked for a long time for a decent cover for a Nexus 7, and this was the best I found. I would advise you to keep looking.

Acquistata di colore arancio in novembre 2012, dopo più di tre anni di utilizzo ha iniziato a cedere lungo la piegatura, probabilmente a causa dei continui ribaltamenti a cui la avevo sottoposta nelle ultime settimane. L'ho riacquistata su Amazon pagandola € 8,50 in meno rispetto a tre anni fa e mi è stata consegnata nei tempi dichiarati. Si adatta perfettamente al mio Nexus 7 (è stata realizzata per quello...) e trovo sia leggermente più dura della precedente, probabilmente ancora più resistente. Il colore, un grigio chiaro, in fondo non è poi male.

A nivel de protección nada que decir, protege el tablet perfectamente. Se me ha caído varias veces y no tiene ni un rasguño, siendo de goma amortigua el golpe perfectamente. El problema es que hace bastante incómodo usar el tablet y acabo teniendo que quitarla a menudo mientras los uso para no estar sujetando la tapa.

Si tienes una Nexus 7, si o si tienes que comprarte esta funda (o similar). Al ser la funda oficial se adapta a la perfección y hace lo que tiene que hacer, proteger tu tan preciado bicho sin apenas notarse que esta ahí. Desconozco otros productos, pero este va perfecto. En cuanto a la gestión del pedido decir que me llegó a los 2 días de pedirlo, y por un precio un pelín mas bajo que en la play store.

Esta funda es para el modelo 2012. Este artículo se adapta muy bien a la superficie de la tablet, y todos sus bordes quedan muy bien protegidos. Dentro de los puntos a considerar para esta funda es que la tapa no es magnetica ni tiene sujetador, por lo cual no permanece fija a la pantalla; no es smart cover, lo cual hace que al abrir y cerrar la tapa no se encienda la pantalla o se apague; se adapta bien al tacto, lo cual no permite que se resbale y da mas seguridad. Al parecer es la funda oficial.
