CM-5.3 - Cyclone Chain Scrubber

The CM-5.3 Cyclone Chain Scrubber is hands down the best chain cleaning tool I've ever used! As someone who takes bike maintenance seriously, I've tried a variety of products, but none have come close to the efficiency and effectiveness of this one. The design of the CM-5.3 is incredibly user-friendly, making the whole process quick and mess-free. Clean easy device to clean chain - Makes cleaning my chain a much quicker and easier process. Before I would end up with dirty oil all over my hands but using this makes it much cleaner. The other thing it does is that it cleans right inside the chain and gets to all the bits I was missing before. So simple to use and I'm really pleased with the purchase, definitely worth the money.

Great little tool with the added benefit of being able to spin the lid to run it in reverse over your e-bike chain!! Like all these chain cleaners, look after them and they’ll look after you. Build quality is as expected from Park Tool.

it does what its supposed to do and makes a laborious job much faster. my main training rout is a sandy path by the sea so regularly have to clean the chain this tool does a good job of removing sand and after a few passes the chain is shining like new, the only downside is the cost comparing to my old chain cleaner which I unfortunately left in Germany I would say it cleans the same but that cost me less than half the price from Aldi (bikemate) after a few months of checking Aldi's site they've never restocked so had to spend double for the name and buy this

Help to clean deeply the chain. However, it's not the miracle tool

Just used this for the first time after having bought it with a big bottle of biodegradeable degreaser. Easy to use, fast to do and even a simple and quick task to rinse out and clean up after. Followed the simple instructions (which were to do once, change cleaning fluid, and do again) and completed the task in <10 minutes. My chain is now clean - after a month of mixed surface winter riding had built up quite a bit of oily grime. The tool is plastic but its quite thick and feel solid. The metal clips on either end worked well and were use to undo and re-attach. I know I've only used it once but it was so good (a much better result than previous versions that attached a similar plastic construction to the top of an aerosol can of cleaner) but really want to recommend this. Not often I'm genuinely impressed, and wish I'd find this years ago.

Vor dem Kauf habe ich die billigen Alternativen angeschaut, aber nach nun mehrmaliger Verwendung kann ich sagen dass der höhere Preis es wert ist. Es ist stabil, liegt gut in der Hand, die Bürsten laufen gut und der Schwamm ist groß genug um möglichst wenig Flüssigkeit aus dem Gerät mit der Kette raus zu lassen. Griff auf die richtige Seite stecken, Kettenreiniger bis zur Markierung füllen, an die Kette setzen und von oben den Deckel drauf. Ich mache nach Gefühl viele Umdrehungen der Pedale - je länger desto gründlicher. Zwischendurch durch die kleine Mulde auf der Oberseite noch etwas Reiniger nachfüllen da die erste Befüllung sich wegen des Schwamms reduziert. Ganz ohne die Hände dreckig zu machen wird die Kette echt gut sauber, ggf. kurze Pause zum Einwirken der Flüssigkeit lassen und dann mit einem Tuch gründlich nachwischen. Ritzel auch reinigen und Kettenöl drauf, fertig. Das Kettenreinigungsgerät einfach unter fließendem Wasser reinigen und trocknen lassen. Auf der Unterseite gibt es einen Magneten, der keinen Kontakt mit dem Wasser hat, aber mit einem eingesteckten Plastikteil gehalten wird. Zum Reinigen Magnet abmachen und ausspülen, dann geht auch der Metallspan einfach weg. Dieses Plastikteil das den Magneten hält ist auch mein größter Kritikpunkt - es wirkt etwas zerbrechlich, könnte mir vorstellen dass es irgendwan nicht mehr hält. Aber der Magnet ist super nützlich, denn es sammelt sich bei jeder Reinigung sehr viel Metallspahn an, der so aus der Flüssigkeit gesammelt und somit nicht wieder in die Kette eingebracht wird. Insgesamt kann ich das Gerät sehr empfehlen, weil es einem die Arbeit wirklich leicht macht und man somit die Reinigung der Kette auch häufiger macht, was der Haltbarkeit hilft.

Très efficace , solide , le meilleur que j'ai utilisé . De plus , tout est démontable pour le nettoyage y compris les brosses !

Prolongs life of a chain as well as improves how it looks. Works even better with WD-40!

Did not get all the grease off of my bike chain, even when I got out the heavy duty chain cleaner. Also was a bit clumsy in it's use, however did the work it needed to do (mostly).
