The other reviews are correct that setting it up is challenging, but find someone under age 20 to help and you'll get it. We had to find an old out-of-date computer that hadn't been upgraded in ten years. It can't handle new operating systems. It is a great controller although we still need to use our cable-box remote to switch between programs. Maybe there's a way to teach this remote to do it, but I'd have to have that 20-year-old back for another afternoon. Logitech is so much better than the others, it's a shame they aren't making new ones that keep up with the times.

I had an older harmony one and this is greatly improved in looks and performance. Best universal remote I've ever used. It loaded my settings from the old remote once I logged it in on my computer. Easy configuration for an old mitsubishi monitor that I can't find any remote for.

The remote is OK: What I like: It was easy to program and get all my devices into the remote. The activities are great because they will turn on/off any devices that are needed for an activity. For example, watching TV w/Stereo will turn the TV and Stereo on and set everything to the right inputs. If I want to switch to Streaming, it will make all the changes. What I don't like: The way the buttons are setup with the screen, it's too easy to accidentally hit a button on the screen, when you don't mean to, while trying to hit a physical button. You really need to point the remote directly at the devices to get them to work. It seems the original remotes have a wider beam.

Works great! I had the old Harmony One which was a little spotty with controlling some of my equipment. It wouldn't always turn on the reciever or TV on the first button push. Sometimes the receiver would turn on but the TV wouldn't or vice versa. Unfortunately my dog decided she needed a new chew toy and destroyed it. The Ultimate One was easier to program and works much better. One push of the "Watch TV" button and all my devices turn on and set to the proper setting. It hasn't failed me yet. So far so good. Thanks Ruby for forcing the upgrade!

I had an old Harmony back years ago - and for the life of me, I can't recall why I got rid of it. Well, I got tired of having several remotes hanging about and decided to get another universal. I went first with the highly-rated Sofabaton - but after hours of fighting with it and it still not working, I returned it and ordered the Ultimate. The setup was largely trouble-free - the syncing was a little glitchy, requiring a few closing and reopenings. But after the setup, it runs everything natively. The swipe up and down for volume is an added bonus I don't remember from the older version I owned. If you can get your hands on a good refurbished model, you won't regret it.

Arrived quick and although its refurbished it work like new. The charging station doesn't work well but I keeped my old one and it worked fine. These are hard to fine.

This is my second Harmony One remote. The reason I bought another? The ease of setup and use. My home entertainment systems consist of many devices. While I may not use all the devices for any one activity, Harmony One allows me to set up 'Activities' consisting of only those devices required for that activity, be it watching cable, a movie, listening to a CD, whatever. All configuration is done online and synchronized with the remote. The remote is easy to handle with a design that fits my hand well. The touch screen interface can be a little slow to respond to touches sometimes, but is clear and easy to read. Instead of replaceable batteries the Harmony has internal rechargeables that get refreshed with the included charging base. It doesn't take up much space and helps reduce end table clutter by getting the remote out of the way. It looks quite nice sitting vertically in the base. This purchase was a refurbished unit since the Harmony One is no longer being manufactured. So far it has been working fine and I see no reason right now that it shouldn't serve me as well as my first Harmony One still in use.

Decided to go for this refurbished remote rather than a new one, when it arrived it looked as good as new , it was easy to set up and works extremely well I tried a couple of cheaper versions for the set up I wanted but they proved to be useless or faulty, this one is great so would recommend as a good buy at a reasonable price
