This Tea Can Help You Read People's Thoughts
First things first. Drinking this tea will not help you read people's thoughts. I just got tired of looking at reviews with titles about how good the tea tastes. So as long as you're already here, might as well finish reading this review (I'll be brief, trust me). This is a huge bag of South African Rooibos tea at a price that I've NEVER seen it at before. A tin of 36 tea bags (Republic of Tea brand) from Whole Foods would set me back around thirteen bucks. That's two ounces of tea, total. Then I'd order the favorite brand in South Africa, which is Five Roses. 80 tea bags, six ounces, for eleven bucks. Not a bad price. And then there's Davidson's.One whole pound. Organic rooibos red in the most bland, boring packaging every. For only fifteen bucks. Nothing fancy, nothing flashy. Just 16 ounces of loose rooibos tea leaves. Do the math. You're not going to find rooibos at a better price per ounce, period. It's a good thing we're not talking grams, because I'm starting to sound like someone's plug. And I don't want anyone trying to smoke this. It's DELICIOUS.I make it using one of our Teabloom brand loose leaf stovetop pitchers with a stainless steel infuser. It tastes just as good, if not better, than any other rooibos I've had in the past. I even shared some with family that had never tried rooibos before. Honestly, I thought they wouldn't like it. We're talking dyed-in-the-wool Southerners that only drink sweet tea, the kind with enough sugar to put you into a diabetic coma. I figured they would think it tasted, I don't know... Weird? But they loved it. I had a hard time believing it, but they actually liked it.I said I would be brief. My bad.Bottom line is this. It tastes awesome. It's super affordable. And I know it's got all sorts of health and nutritional benefits and blah blah blah I don't care, I just love the way this stuff tastes. Will you love the way this particular tea tastes? I have no idea. In fact, why do we even pay attention to other people saying whether they like the taste of something or not? I can't get two people in our house to agree on the same type of pizza to order. Point is, the only way to find out if you'll like it, is by adding it to your shopping cart, and checking out. So when you're done reading my not-so-brief-but-I-honestly-thought-it-would-be-brief review, place your order for it. Buy it today, you'll get it in a couple of days. Seriously, stop reading and order it now.

My go-to green tea standard.
My kids gave me a green tea sampler with 12 different types of teas from all over the world. The Gunpowder was my favorite out of the lot, and now I buy it by the pound. Davidson's is by far the best quality at the best price, in my opinion. The taste is very balanced and smooth. I use about 1 1/2 tsp in my little teapot and it gives a wonderful golden color. I drink many different teas throughout the day, and this is a constant favorite for quality, taste, and price.

Reduces inflammation
I am glad I found this tea. Thank you for a great product. It has helped me reduce inflammation and a it claims is definitely a diuretic. Tastes very good. Sometimes I add lemon but it's not necessary. It is tart but you can add more water to adjust to your likeness. I love it ice more than hot.

This tea is powerful!
I like te consistency of the leaves, and the taste of the tea. I recommend using a little less than other teas to make it a little less strong, making it more of a value for the money. I recommended this brand for quality and value.

Good value
A lot more tea than I thought. It was a good price for a big bag of loose leaf chai tea. The taste isn’t the best chai I’ve had mostly because I’m not a big fan of cinnamon and this chai has too much cinnamon taste to it. Wish it had more cardamon instead. Bought some cardamon pods separately to put more cardamon in the tea so hopefully that’ll make it taste much better.

Excellent Tea
This is the best earl grey I've had for how little I paid for it. It smells fantastic and tastes great even on the second or third steep.I'm usually more of a coffee guy these days, but finally started getting a better setup to use loose leaf instead of teabags after I was gifted some tea. After my first cup I couldn't figure out why I had never made the move sooner. The flavor and aroma is so much better than even the fancier teabags you get at most stores, and at a much cheaper cost.I will be ordering more in the future.

Good bulk Rooibos!
I was scared to buy because of the bad reviews, but the price is so low i had to give it a shot. Turned out to be pretty good Rooibos! I really dig it! And good thing too since the amount here is basically a lifestime supply.

It's good tea but
It's good tea and a good price. I recommend it but I'm just an average Joe and most definitely I am no tea connoisseur. But take note that the tea itself does not originate from the USA as is currently implied in the product details. Davidson's website lists the origin of each flavor/type on their website. Most/all of their teas seem to be grown in China or India. Evidently they pack the imported tea here in the US and perhaps the packaging is made in the US but the tea itself is imported.

I was worried the rumors weren't true, but...
I was worried the rumors weren't true, but I had the pleasure to find my own feather, some plastic strings a couple of chrysalis, some wood, AND..A Bird Turd!!! Yippiii!I just sorted it out and gonna drink it anyway, but could you (Mr. Davidson Tea) just pretend like you give a damn about what you put in the bag you sell, I'm sure MAPAQ representatives wouldn't be so kind. And please, sort it out before infusing it, I almost prepared me a bird turd infusion,Thanks for reading!

Feces, larvae and plastic, oh my!
Bought this because it sounded tasty and because of the cheap price. Bag has a really nice fruity odour to it as well. However after a couple glasses of tea, I ended up throwing it all in the garbage.Upon inspection of the bag, I found what looked like rabbit feces (little pellets), moth larvae (lots of them!) and pieces of green plastic. So gross. But hey it at least smelled good, right?I won't be buying from this brand again. What a waste of money.

Rooibos tea. Just a 16oz. bag of bulk tea.
Not all the reviews here are talking about the same item. This is a review for Davidson's bulk Rooibos tea in the 16 oz. bag.I opened up my bag, poured it out onto a newspaper and guess what I found? I found tea. Nothing but a 16 oz bag of ready-to-use Rooibos bulk tea - no stick, stones, marbles, gum, coins...just tea. See my attached picture. It's fresh and delicious and a great price! Delivery was prompt too. Thanks Davidsons'!

NOT SPEARMINT
Mint tea is my go-to herbal tea and I have been purchasing loose mint leaves from a cafe located in Kensington market (Toronto,ON) but since I moved to the Westcoast recently I have actively looked for a local teashop to purchase mint leaves but failed (ended buying on Davids tea's site but gave up since it's quite expensive). I was kind of happy when I found this brand on Amazon and with Prime, it's free shipping but unfortunately no return is allowed. I brewed my first cup tonight and boy, what a great disappointment it rewarded me. First of all, it does taste minty but it is an undertone. The major taste is very cumin-ish or spice-ish - I can't put a finger on what exactly it is but it absolutely overpowers the mint I had to dilute it with lots of ice in order to mask the pungent odour and since I can't return it I'm thinking of mixing this with other herbal tea leftovers that I may have in my kitchen in order to fix it. If you're looking for a legit mint tea, I will not recommend this for the price tag it may be tempting and if you want to try it for yourself please go ahead!

Beautiful whole petals for kids-friendly caffeine-free Kombucha! <3
Beautiful whole flowers! Deep red hibiscus tea! It tasted great as tea - no more buying those store bought crumbs in tea bags. I will make kids-friendly caffeine-free Kombucha with this one! I will order again! <3PS: After reading the review with the plastic piece (not nice), feather (not nice) and seed pods (nice!), and the review with the dead beetle (wouldn't bother me - I'd rather buy organic with beetle than pesticides or GMO), I dumped the whole bag of hibiscus petals on a tray.I am sad I only had one seed pod with three seeds - I planted them hehehe. I found a small piece of a peanut shell <10 cents. I am not allergic, but I am very concerned as so many people are, that this might get into some peanut-allergic hands. I love the whole petals, as then I at least see what I buy/get and they make a wonderful tea! Just what I wanted. However, peanut shells are really dangerous and that should not happen. I will buy again and I stand with my positive review, but some person with an allergy might want to stay away.
