Great value. Be sure you cut the tubing even and straight, without crimping it. Then insert straight, and all the way into the valve. If it's crooked, or not inserted all the way, or crimped, it may leak. A lot. Nice thing is this has REUSABLE CLIPS!!! (Most of the quick-connects I've used in the past have been one time use only, then you had to break clip to get it loose.) Same item at big box store is $5 to $8 for EACH VALVE - wow what a savings if you think you're ever going to use just 2. (Actually, a few big box stores I went to didn't even have these valves at all – and the ones they had, for a different size tubing, was $15+ each!!) We used a few of these to hook up a hose from under our sink to our water purifier. We added a few valves and t-connectors, and tubing... Now when we need pure water to fill drinking storage containers, pots, or other things inconvenient to lift up into the sink, we just pull out our home made hose and turn on this valve. UPDATE: It's been installed with live water pressure for months now... no leaking, no trouble... would buy this again and recommend it highly!

Comes with collets to secure the connections. I spent YEARS using a torch and solder to sweat joints, and wrenches to compression fit, and I LOVE the fool-proof and leak-proof nature of the 1/4" plastic joinery. Several "must" elements: You MUST use a sharp knife or razorblade to cut the tubing so it is not disturbed from a perfect round tube. When inserting tube into the socket, the first 1/4" is slightly resistant, then there is a "hump" you have to force penetration, kinda like you-know-what, and a slightly greater friction for the 1/4" more thrust to the complete positive insertion of the tube into the orifice. Ahhhh, that will feel "right" when you have thrust it completely into the socket. There is a collar that moves slightly in and out, out and in, as you jiggle about. These Malida Tees come with a small blue "half-moon" clip or "collet" that you then push between the body and the lips, to help LOCK in the penetrating tube in the socket, somewhat of a canine fashion. <wink>. When properly inserted, no amount of jiggling or quivering will cause even a single drop of fluid escaping! Clean, no extreme muscular effort needed to achieve maximum gratification.

Great. Exactly what I was looking for

The packaging makes it appear cheap, but to date I have used several of these with very good results. These come with small clips to put around the ends to make sure hose doesnt come out accidentally, which I think is a plus, clips are not required for those with not so nimble hands. Works well with my low pressure drip system and on my higher pressure ice maker. Way cheaper than home depot.

Used these for 1/4" irrigation lines. Were much easier to install than inserted connectors and don't seem to restrict the water flow.

Used these to connect a water system in a wet bar. Worked perfectly to split line to operate a glass washer. No issues 2 months in.

These are great. The Shark Bite fittings at the store are $7 each. You can't go wrong with these. If you can wait for them to be delivered. Do it. They work just like their more expensive counterpart.

All Malida Quick Connect Push Fit Fittings are of all decent quality and I would definitely recommend these items to others..... But the Malida Ball Valves are a whole different story as they are all made with a Flow Restrictor inside of them so naturally they cant dump as much water as other named Ball Valves such as DM and/or JG. Malida are still decently made Ball Valves tho...... none of the ones I tested leaked. I'll just keep them around in case I need a spare! Below is a couple of pics to show the difference between a Malida Ball Valve w/ flow restrictor and a D.M. Ball Valve which does not have a flow restrictor!
