Very nice solo seat
Love my new seat . Looks great, Feels very strong and comfortable compared with my old solo spring seat. The only thing I didn’t like was the under seat bracket tray . Looks weak or made with a lite material. I used my old seat tray since it was stronger. But in overall,I love my new seat.

A pain to install
The only reason I'm giving this seat 3 stars is because of the price. Wrong hardware shipped with too small washers and no instructions. Also modifications needed. Its fine if you want to save a few bucks but be prepared to do some work. This was fitted to a 2006 Sportster Xl883.

It needs some minor modification to fit
It didn’t fit my motorcycle as advertised. I made some minor modifications and it fits now. It could be made of heavier metal because it flexes. But compared to other more expensive products it was fine.

You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for, I installed it on a 07 Honda Shadow and I had to do some metal trimming, flipped the hardware on the front of the seat around and added some holes as well. The springs are cheap and you have to add some bigger washers to make them stay, and I’m sure they will be replaced soon. The seat is on the smaller side but is very nice and looks good on the bike

Wrong hardware
The video is totally misleading. They have bigger washers in the video that hold the spring in correctly. What they deliver is too small and do not work. You have to literally get them to "pinch" in on the nut and spring to tighten down. I fully expect this to fail quickly and ultimately have to go and buy the correct sized washer. Ridiculous!!!!!!!

Some fabrication may be required.
Bought it for a bobber project on a shadow. Base plate was super easy to bend by hand and cut with my grinder. Fits good. Bought another set of springs for it since I'm on the heavier side. My only complaint is that the rear of the seat isn't bent enough to be an ass catcher for fast take off. So don't be hot rodding if you buy this. I really like the design of the seat. I'm going to try to roll it sometime soon to have that extra bend.
