My cooler latch post attaches with two screws and not one through the hatch. Any suggestions?

I just received and installed these... The new latch screwed into the original holes and lined up well with the original 2-screw post. No need to even use the new post if you don't want to... Other thoughts - the new latch seemed flimsy and weak so I don't have much faith in it, although for us we don't really need it. The hinges were what we really needed for 2 coolers (a small and a medium). They fit well and seem a lot better than the latch, just remains to be seen how long they will last. Maybe next time I will get the stainless hinges, or maybe try the repurposed fire hose material hinges- they also offer a matching latch.

Will the latches & latch posts fit the Igloo 45 quart cooler?

I'm not sure. My cooler is older. I just matched the parts from pictures. Sorry.

It will fit larger cooler?? i need those kits to placement for my igloo larger let me know before i buy and don't want mistake cause of size re diffe

It will fit larger coolers, but the hinges are one piece plastic which will last a little while, and the latch and latch post are different so you will have two holes where the old latch post was. for me it's ok, but if you use it a lot I would try to find better hinges.
