How do you pair this? The pictures inside are clear but the picture on the left side doesn't match anything on the remote.

My new remote worked seamlessly, just as the old one did (which I had lost). I do not use my sound bar for Bluetooth - only for Optical Cable TV sound - so if you’re asking about Bluetooth pairing, I cannot answer your question.
