Works like a charm. Installation is very user friendly. My electrician who is a first timer for such job did it easily with the help of user manual and product video. You need to keep a few things in mind. 1. Long press any button on smart switch for 10-15 seconds for the pairing mode (center dot starts blinking). For the smart switch pairing your phone needs to be in 2.4 Ghz wifi connection. This is only a one time requirement. Later you can operate the switch with 5G connection also from your phone. 2. Google assistant connection (for voice commands) is little glitchy, whereas alexa connection is easily established. If you don't have alexa device, you can use alexa app also for voice commands. 3. You can connect a fan also to the smart switch, but works for on/off only. For speed control you need to reach out to the physical regulator on your switch board. You need not entirely bypass the fan regulator. Just go for it for a most affordable home automation!

Fit issues in GM switch boards. Had to remove the silver lining in the plates to fit it somehow. Works fine but it has connectivity issues. Haven't been able to connect it to wifi and also homemate app doesn't recognize it.

I purchased one piece from Amazon for approx Rs 990., after 20 days touch sensors of the switch stopped responding. Cusomer care was reported and company arranged for pick up of defective switch. Now I had to call electrician twice one during installation and other during uninstallation for return pick up and has charged me Rs500 for each visit in Mumbai. Why such new products are not rigorously checked before launching into market, replacement of installed switches is one additional headache job costing more than product to customer and arising due to launch of product by company which is still in experimental stage which has broken product reliability trust of the customer. Company needs to work on it.
