These ruler are really nice. They are some kind of plastic and not aluminum Like I first thought. Never the less they have a protractor you can use on one of them and two others have wire gauge holes. It appears to have solder pads on them so you can solder on them if you want to. I saw YouTube-er nanofix solder on one and that's why I bought them. They are cheap and useful on the desk. The rulers are covered with pictures of components used in electrical devices and are designed to help you identify what the different parts are called so when you see them you will have quick access to what they are called so you know what a SMD Capacitor diode and QFP'S are when you hear someone in a video talk about different parts. Quick and easy to use.

I have had mine for 5 years, writing a review because I wanted some spares. i use them in different rooms and just get more so I have them in each location. I use them just to measure small things when I design some 3D prints or my model cars. Love how they are made, the ones I have from years ago are fantastic quality, very accurate easy to read lines, cool factory so worth the money.

The imperial inches on these rulers are divided by 10ths and 5ths (powers of 5) instead of the normal 4ths, 8ths, 16ths, and/or 32nds (powers of 2). Otherwise they are accurate, so if that's useful to you these will be fine. The other measurements seem to work normally and are accurate from what I've used.

Exactly what I wanted and has all sorts of useful numbers/pictures on each ruler. I also like that each ruler has inches and millimeters.

This four piece ruler set is an ingenious idea. Has just about every possible measurement and SMT component ID imaginable. Only flaw I see is the wording overlaps in some places and a couple grammatical errors. Other than that, perfect.

I purchased them for my grandson currently at Michigan Technological University. Hopefully this helps reduce math test stress.
