So I knew this going in that some things might be different since the brand doesn’t sell my band size (28e [ddd]) but here’s my experience. Most every review I read here and at Herroom said the cups run small and to size up 1 or 2 sizes, I emailed their customer service to get their thoughts on what I should order, they recommended the 30e with the mindset that I’m going up in my sister brand size but also going up in the cup size to mimic most everyone’s experience of needing a larger cup (though they also pointed out that I’d be losing support with the 30 band, [duh]).Got my bra in the 30e (ddd) and now I’m ordering one cup size down to try. Here’s why:The cups wrinkle throughout and google told me that means they’re too large. Also, the wires go too far and give me a strange fit of empty, flat space towards my underarm where I can’t fill out the cups completely. It makes me feel like it’s giving me that infamous east/west look but it looks fine under a tight tank so golden looks-wise.Other issue with the cups is that the wire at the center sits on top of my tissue, meaning too small cups. I can even easily fit three fingers underneath the center sternum part but it doesn’t look as bad as it sounds. I have evenish, slightly bottom heavy breasts so shallow (aka mostly all molded bras) will never truly fit me. I decided for once, I’m just gonna deal and take the best fit out of the two sizes. Why would I do that?1. The support is real. Like unreal real! I did the jumping test and while there’s some bounce, it’s not more than my Moving Comfort bras, one which I got before Brooks downgraded their quality.2. It’s a molded cup! I’ve dreamt of owning one since I realized VS is bs 11 years ago.3. Super cute with and without a tight shirt.4. Lightly lined with a natural feel and shape. There are four more cons to be aware of! I’ve saved this info for later because they were not my main deciding factors.1) The underwires hurt my ribbies, they’re tight and not padded enough and I hope it’s just because my size is so mismatched.2) The straps! I’m petite but the straps can only be tightened so far and one side tends to slip off my shoulder. I wish Berlei designed this bra so that the straps could be tightened all the way to the front of the bra. Maybe I can manage to find a seamstress who can help me with that? It’s an option.3. The center wires sitting atop my tissue obviously dig in a bit, not terribly but it’s noticeable. It makes me look shallow at my center area but that’s not my natural shape but I still don’t get quad boob so yay.4. The bra isn’t silent, super weird. When I move my arms around a bit or take a deep breath, it has that rubbery stretching sound of the wires moving along with it too. I attribute this to a poor band fit but it could also be a lack of padding around the wires. That’s it! I hope this was helpful! Please don’t judge my bra and I too harshly. It’s not the newest but it’s the only style I’ve ever found that fits me nicely in the cups so it’s the perfect visual to share. It’s Panache’s Marcie (Marcia?) in 28e (ddd) and it’s also not tight enough in the band (I’m actually a 27” rib cage).
