Works as advertised, however the design of the product could be improved.
I really like this product and wanted to give a 5 star rating. The only problem I had with this is the size of the plug. My cameras are installed outdoors and the closest outlets I have to plug the cameras into are outdoor outlets with the plastic door cover. The plugs shape and length of the USB plug did not allow me to simply “plug & play”. On one of my outlets I actually cut the plastic cover to allow more room for plugging the device in. Fortunately the outlet was in a covered place that will not get wet. For the 2nd charge cord I bought I had to plug in an extension cord and then staple the extension cord to the soffit of the house and then plug the charge cord into the extension cord. If the plug was designed with a slightly smaller & more compact size (for example and “L” shaped USB “tail” and a slightly smaller plug without the larger bottom flange) it would have been a simple plug into the outdoor outlet & go. But I had to spend an extra 30 minutes finding a way to get these two charge cords to work with my existing outlet set up.

Definitely NOT to be used as a charger
Initially I bought this power supply to plug into my Arlo Pro camera to maintain the battery status. However, before going with the installation, I decided to check the charger by plugging it to my Arlo camera with only 14% battery life left, then check the battery status two hours later.Well, it wasn't great. The battery was charged to only 22%. (8% in 2 hours)Removed the cable and plugged the Arlo camera to original Arlo battery charger and after 2 hours the battery show 91% full. (69% in 2 hrs) Now I am a bit worried if the TYRONE Power Extension Cable with Quick (?) Charge will keep up with charging the unit after installation. While the TYRONE plug shows output 3.0A - it's definitely slower than the original charger cable from Arlo, that has "only" 2.0A output. At this point I can't really submit any rating, yet, but I am going to update this review after installation and few months of use. Let's see if the cable will keep up with charging the battery when camera is in use. This is a very quiet location with almost no traffic - just occasional birds or alley cats :)

Well designed
This is the second time I purchased this because I like the design of the right angle microUSB and the right angle power adapter. For those who have installed Arlo camera out door using the magnetic mount you know the space in the back of the camera and the mount is very tight. The right angle connection for the microUSB give you just that little extra space. My power source for this camera is an outlet with a weatherproof cover. The space in the cover is tight so as with the microUSB, the power adapter with the USB connection at right angle to the plug give me enough space to close the cover. The only negative I found was that it came with cable clips that were white while the cable is black.

90 degree angle is a must for plugging into cameras!

Looks like it will work well for what I want.
This product looks exactly like what I was expecting. I haven’t had a chance to climb up on the roof to connect but I am happy that I can use this from the rooftop (my plan). That was I can put the cameras and security lights up high enough someone can’t easily take them. If I had to get up to the cameras all the time to replace the batteries to charge them, it would be too low and easily accessible by thieves. I can afford solar panels for all of the cameras and lights.

Didn't work. Continuous problems with "charging faults"
Got the 30 foot version of this product. The tip of the charging cable was slightly bent when I got it, but it slipped right back into shape and plugged into the camera just fine, so I went ahead and ran the cable across my barn and got everything secured using the fasteners that were included. The camera showed it was charging, but by the time I got back into my house I had received a "charging fault" and it had stopped.Occasionaly it would start charging again, getting a few percentage points restored to the camera and then I'd get another charging fault.I suspect the cable was damaged (because of the the bent tip), since there are many other folks on here who don't seem to have a problem with the cable. It's a huge disappointment to me since it took a while to get the cable routed through the rafters of my barn from the outlet to the camera and now I have to rip all of that out again and order another cable, probably the official one so at least it's guaranteed to work.

Good product
The product is okay for the money but the connector on the camera keeps falling off. It does not stay in. I had to put a rubber band around camera to hold cable in place from falling out of camera.
