I am not a computer or electronics person. I have no idea if VGA cables become worn or need replacing. In looking for a solution to my computer screens flashing on and off every few seconds, I decided to order new VGA cables in a longer length than what I had been currently using. Amazing! Problem solved. These cables were compatible with my (Dell) computer and monitors. They're made well and were easy to switch out. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Better than Monoprice
Had a Monoprice cable that had showed interference on my Sony PVM 20L5. With this one, I donโt recall ever having the noisy interference & the cable is of high quality! Recommend!

Great cable if you need to modify it
I've only had the cable a few days but so far it's working as expected. My husband modified it (removed the screw off one side) as my laptop's HDMI and VGA outlets were so close to each other that you couldn't plug both types of cables in at the same time. Now I can and I'm able to use 2 screens in addition to my laptop screen. Product arrived as expected and on time.
