The capsule tubes are designed to store Air-Tite Brand Capsules. Each tube has a small hole poked in the cap to allow air-flow when removing the lid, tubes will hold 20 completely closed capsules. The tubes do not provide any extra protection for the coins, and are only a storage solution. These capsules are Made in the USA from an acrylic plastic with a non-yellowing agent. This process results in a final product that is hard, crystal clear, and smooth to the touch. The cover and base close together firmly to form a perfect seal. The capsules are PVC Free, archival Safe are suitable for extended periods of long term coin or bar storage. The Rings are made of an inert cross linked polyethylene. The rings secure the coin in the holder. They will create an additional barrier against air contamination and also presents an attractive border to accent the coin. *Some coins are thicker than the inside depth of this capsule, but can still be used in this holder. You may experience a small gap between the top and bottom pieces that is about the thickness of a fingernail. Review: The perfect capsules for 39mm diameter silver rounds (and some coins!) - These 39mm black-ring capsules will make silver rounds (and some silver coins) look visually stunning, and are perfect for the following: -- 1 oz Generic silver rounds (almost all of which are 39mm diameter) -- 1 oz South Africa Krugerrand coin (38.7mm diameter, 2.84mm thickness) -- 1 oz Great Britain Britannia coin (38.61mm diameter, 3mm thickness) -- 1 oz Armenia Noahโs Ark coin (38.6mm diameter, 2.8mm thickness) -- 1 oz Alderney D-Day 80th anniversary coin (38.61mm diameter, 2.7mm thickness) Note that different size capsules are available for coins/rounds of varying diameter. Bigger, 40mm capsules are necessary for larger diameter coins such as the 1 oz American Silver Eagle (40.6mm), 1 oz Mexican Libertad (40mm), and various Australian silver coins of 40.6mm (e.g. Kookaburra, Kangaroo, Wedge-Tailed Eagle). Smaller capsules should be purchased for coins of smaller diameter, such as the 1 oz Canadian Maple Leaf (37.97mm) and the 1 oz Austrian Philharmonic coin (37mm). These smaller coins will indeed fit into these 39mm capsules, but there will be a noticeable gap between the black foam and the coin; moreover, the coin may slide around a bit. The extra 1mm does make a difference. These 39mm capsules are shipped between thin layers of foam packaging to prevent cracking and scratching. All 20 of mine came in perfect condition, and all 20 black foam rings were intact. As other reviewers have pointed out, once the coin is placed into the capsule, it may be necessary to damage the capsule in order to retrieve the coin. The provided container with the red cap is made of thin clear flexible plastic; it's not incredibly durable but is appropriate for $3. (These capsules can be purchased without that container for $3 less.) Overall, this is a great product! I will purchase again! Review: Great for protecting all our precious little pretties - We have many different products from OnFireGuy. So far all have been great quality products. The storage tubes are great for storing there coin capsules in. A few of the capsules are a little scratched up on this order, but not bad. Overall a must have item for all of our little precious pretties

Easy To Use & Protective.
These coin cases are superb for the avid coin collector, I use them for all of my 1 oz silver coins they fit right with the added extra padded black ring in the case, fairly priced comes with a nice tube that holds twenty 10z coins very nice with a vented top.

Do you really need another review of these? ๐
They cost a few cents more than the cheapest holders. But, with each round worth $110 plus, who cares? These are excellent and Iโm thrilled with the purchase.

really hard to re-open but good seal.
super tight seal, wish they were easier to re-open. I had to use a flat small screwdriver to re-open it.

Will buy again, protects very well
**UPDATE** Bought these in 2019 and since it's 2022 you can tell this is something i don't use as often since I'm not an avid coin collector. Finally got to the bottom of the tube to find the last 3 capsules wont go together. They are 6 of the same side so 3 of the Capsules are unusable. When you get them you might want to check all of them before you toss them in your work bench. No I haven't contacted the vendor because i figure it's been awhile and i should have checked it sooner. They are still working well. Got them for a lot cheaper than the local dealer sells them for. Been using the for challenge coins and medallions. Hold and protects well. Will buy again.
