I was very reluctant to order this chair only because the reviews were mixed, after reading the reviews I decided to take a chance, I need a comfortable office chair that is good on the back as I work from home. I'm so glad I did. The chair was everything I'd hoped for, the unique back has a padded lumber you can put out to fit your comfort level. It was super easy to put together, I did it by myself in 15 minutes, it's very sturdy and made well. I would highly recommend this chair to anyone looking for a comfortable office chair with the focus on back support.

My back used to ache by 2 PM. With this chair's adjustable lumbar support, I can finally make it through my full workday comfortably. A solid home office upgrade.It's sturdy and doesn't feel like it'll tip. Happy with the black color.

I work from home teaching and tutoring online. During my working hours, I am sitting without lots of breaks to stand up and move around. It was really taking a toll on my lower back, so I decided to buy a proper office chair that would provide ergonomic support. But I also didn't want the typical ugly black office chair, so I was happy that this chair came in a beige color that fits in well with the décor of my home office and looks good on Zoom. The material is soft faux leather, which I like... none of that woven material that collects odors and stains. It swivels, rolls and reclines like a typical office chair. A great bonus is that the arms flip up, which is good for when I want to sit cross-legged. There is a lower back support that you can adjust outward to meet your back, but I wish it also moved up and down. The chair is very comfortable. It was a bit difficult to put together, specifically attaching the back to the base seat. The holes where the chair parts connect weren't predrilled through the faux leather, so I had to feel for the holes and poke my own through the material. I had to fight with it a bit to get the perfect connection. But it was all worth it in the end. It's a great chair!

I have had a few office chairs in my day. But, being only 5'2", I never found one that really fit me...before now! Once it was assembled, I sat down and literally said, "ahhhh!" I can put my feet flat on the floor! The armrests fit under my desk! The lumbar support actually sits where it should on me! I have short legs, a short torso, short arms, basically the whole munchkin thing and this chair feels so nice! I tell you, it might be wrong to be this excited over office furniture, but I don't even care. I do think it may not work for you if you are over a certain weight/size. Check the seat width measurements to make sure it will fit you well. I'm an average weight and am very comfortable. If you have a long torso, the lumbar may not be in the right spot for you, so consider that as well. The color is nice, a very elegant-looking "greige" leaning more to the beige side. I think it looks really nice for the price point. The seat cushion is very comfortable so far, but I haven't spent hours and hours in it yet. If it becomes less comfortable over time, I will update the review. I didn't have much trouble assembling the chair, though I do think it would be faster and easier with two people. The hardest part was putting the back on, since if you are alone, you have to balance it carefully to line the screw holes up, and it is awkward. If you assemble it on your own, I suggest putting the two bottom screws in first to stabilize, then going back and adding the top ones on each side. Since I just got the chair, I can't speak yet on its durability long-term, but I'll update my review if it doesn't hold up. I plan to be proactive in caring for the bonded leather to protect it from peeling, so hopefully, I can enjoy the chair for a long time!

Not one to write reviews but this chair was delivered on time and the package/ box was in the same shape as when it left the warehouse. Chair was easy to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow. The leather looks to be of nice quality and the color is consistent throughout the chair. The seat of the chair is at a very comfortable height and overall very satisfied with the product. One thing that I did do is installed a better roller wheel as I don't like the plastic ones that were supplied in the package. The wheels that shipped obviously would work but just my preference. I would recommend this office chair and would consider purchasing again if I need another. Thanks and Good Luck!

The seat cushion hasn’t flattened, the back support keeps my posture in check, and the build quality still feels solid. If you’re on the fence, just get it — you’ll be glad you did. This chair has truly been worth every penny.

After looking at a lot of office chair options on Amazon, I ultimately chose this option because it looked sturdy and I liked the taupe color selection. I bought two, one for my husband, who is 6' tall, and one for me. I'm 5'6". The chair is very well-packed and each piece is wrapped individually in paper. The hardware is very well-marked with a separate compartment for each step of the assembly process. The assembly instructions are easy to follow, and all the parts fit together smoothly. Assembly is easier with two people, as holding the back in place to insert the screws on each side would be tricky, but not impossible, with one person. I would rate the ease of assembly as an "A." The chair is indeed very sturdy and rolls well on the casters. It has an adjustment for seat height and another knob for tension on the back incline. However, I would definitely not describe this chair as ergonomic, as it lacks the capability to adjust key parts of the chair to fit an individual's requirements. The arms are not "adjustable." They are at a fixed height, but they can pivot backward if you want to get them out of the way. Adjustable to me means that you can move them up and down to suit a person's arm height, which this chair doesn't do. That was disappointing, as the arms are about 1.5 - 2" inches too high for me to comfortably rest my arms on them while typing. The seat height at the lowest position allows me to rest my feet flat on the floor and have my legs and torso at a 90 degree angle, which is the correct sitting position. I am 5'6", so anyone shorter than me will likely find the seat too high and may need to compensate with a footrest to support their legs. My sister is 5'1", and her feet would not touch the floor in this chair's lowest position. The seat depth (from the back to the front of the seat) is not adjustable and runs quite short. For my 5'6" height, the seat depth is 1.5 - 2" too short, which feels odd compared to my prior ergonomic chair, where the seat could be adjusted to support my legs all the way to the bend in my knee. I will probably get used to the short seat depth, but I'm not sure my husband will. At his 6" height, the seat depth is 2 - 3" too short. The "lumbar support" is a panel in the seat back that pivots out from the top of the panel. I agree with other reviewers who have pointed out that describing this as a "lumbar support" is not very accurate since the bottom of the panel is below the lumbar area. That was very disappointing, since I bought this chair specifically to get better lumbar support than my prior chair offered. The clear problem with this pivoting panel coupled with the short seat depth is that extending the panel at all makes the seat depth even shorter. The panel extends out into the seat area of the chair and makes you feel as though you're sitting on the edge of the chair - because you are. If the chair height was adjustable down more, it's possible that a very short person could use the panel in a slightly extended position. However, given that the height of the chair fits me in the lowest position and I'm 5'6", I think the extending panel would be nearly useless to most people unless you habitually sit on the edge of your chair. To sum up, at my 5'6" height, the arms of the chair are too high and not adjustable; the depth of the chair is too short and not adjustable; the height of the chair in the lowest position fits correctly; the adjustable "lumbar support" panel is useless as it will interfere with the already short seat depth; the "headrest" padded area at the top hits me between my shoulder blades and the base of my neck. I can lean my head back and it will be supported by the very top of the chair. My husband is too tall to do that. The chairs had a coupon that made them about $275 each, so we're keeping them as they weren't a huge investment, and they will suffice for a couple of years. However, I would not buy this model again, given its limited adjustability and the mismatch between arm height, chair height, and seat depth.

Really pleased with the chair. It has a nice high back, but don't go into it expecting head or neck support. Strong, supportive base, though I did buy wheels that are rubber and more high end separately. The seat isn't as wide as I had expected, so likely unsuitable for a heavy set or wide hipped person. The height lift can be locked into place, but the tilt cannot. It is not breathable, but you should already know that based on the material. Very easy to assemble, though heavy, so required a second set of hands at a certain point. The only issue I had is that a couple of the screw covers wouldn't fit into place, even with a bit of hammering- which is over all not a big deal. Easy to operate and comfy!
