Buyer just beware. It took me 7 weeks to receive this item. I ordered it on Nov 15 2013 & received it on January 4th 2014. The vendor seems to be from China & the packaging indicated that. The cable also came with a little wire I didn't realize that could be used for a key chain I guess. The cost was low enough to wait the long time, just don't expect it quickly. It seems to work to split the power to a CCTV camera and an IR light for the camera. The single female plug was a bit tight on the Q-See CCTV cable I connected it to, but I did get it on to it. Just got the 3 stars for the long delivery time, which may have been a customs issue as well.

This splitter was to be used with the VideoSecu High Sensitive Audio Pickup Device External Amplified device - although this product work it was of no use for me. However, I can use this to split the power between two cameras now. So it was intended for something specific and I ended up using it for something else. A good deal.

extremely handy item for powering an infra red floodlight from the cameras power feed or running 2 LED light strips off one power supply.Most camera power supplies can handle a 48 LED, if it gets warm you may need a larger PS.

Does what I want and it's cheap. Only down side was it took a while to come in, but that's expected.

Not quite as long as I thought but works great to power to another effects box from the same power supply for my guitar. Happy and will buy again if I add another box.

Works as advertised. Works with most adapter plugs (in the range of 5 - 16 volt and maybe even higher). Great for arduino projects. I needed to power two separate strips of Flexible LED strip lights from a single supply .This worked well for my LE brand lights.

I am using this to power two LED strip lights, connection is very solid. Definitely will buy this again if I need it.
