Beautiful, well designed mug
My favorite travel mug. Wanted something that wasn’t plastic but could be microwaved and this is the perfect fit. I’ve owned it for 3.5 years now and its clear I will own it for many more.Pros:-Doesn’t stain (I even have the white)-Every part can be disassembled and put in the dishwasher making it the easiest mug to clean-Beautiful-Microwave safe-Quality-Keeps liquid warm for a couple hours. It’s obvious this isn’t a thermos but I’m satisfied with how long my coffee/tea stays warmPotential cons depending on your needs:-Not leak proof. You can’t get away with filling this and then sticking it in the side pocket of a backpack but it will handle a walk or some potholes on a dirt road-Heavy. This has never been an issue for me but if you have wrist pain or a difference that would make this important then it is on the heavier side.-Larger circumference. I wear a medium-large size female glove and I can get my hand a little over halfway around this mug. If you have tiny hands it might be too big.10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful to look at & use. Take heed of the manufacturer's notice regarding the lid.
I bought this mug because I’ve been working from my home since the start of the pandemic. Having had it with my lovely everyday kitchen use Bodum Pavina porcelain mugs tipping over on my desk, I wanted to find a porcelain mug with a similar shape and size THAT HAD A LID to help prevent what seems to have become a weekly disaster. After a wee bit of searching I found the Mora mug. Not only is the Mora mug absolutely beautiful in shape and size, its muted soft coloring is soothing to the eye. While I originally purchased it because it was beautiful, the right shape & size, & had a lid, I happily discovered the Mora mug’s well-thought-out design actually helps to prevent tipping disasters from occurring in the first place. Firstly, the Mora mug is substantial in weight due to its double-walled porcelain construction. Expect to find it heavier in the hand than your average mug. Secondly, the double-walled construction combined with the lid keeps beverages hot for at least an hour or more. Third, the mug is so solidly well balanced -- with more of its weight concentrated on the bottom of the mug than the top – that it does not topple over with the barest little nudge or push. It will take a fairly substantial bump or jolt to topple this mug over. The heavily weighted bottom is a benefit I was not expecting and it is an excellent perk. The Mora’s well-balanced weight is probably one of the major reasons why I am not in the least disturbed by the manufacturer’s warning that the lid is not leak-proof. I believe the lid’s main purpose is to assist in keeping liquids hot and it does that job well. Its secondary purpose is to mitigate spills rather than prevent spills. I find it to be the perfect desk mug but I would not use it as a travel mug. Even if you never removed it from the car’s cupholder there would be very liquid left in it after the first stop sign. It would slosh out.I am so pleased with my Mora (desk) mug I purchased two more for my college kids who are currently schooling remotely and are stuck living with their parental unit when they should be living the dream. The mugs will never make up for losing a year of college fun, but it’s something.

Almost perfect Mug
I bought this because I wanted a ceramic mug to really enjoy the taste of my coffee while working from home. It's got some serious weight to it and feel sturdy. The weight base is great to prevent knock overs. As others have mentioned the only weakness is the lid which is a little awkward but manageable (I admit I've got a big nose and can still readily drink from it). It'll keep your coffee warm for 1-2 hrs tops but I bought it to enjoy the taste over a stainless steel tumbler If you want something that'll keep coffee piping hot for 2-3 hrs get a stainless steel tumbler. It's good for short car trips but for a long hauls it won't keep liquids hot 2+ hrs (lukewarm at best). If you want to enjoy the taste and have a great looking mug this is worth the money.
