Bald Eagle Huge Kite for Kids and Adults Single Line String Easy to Fly for Beach Trip Park Family Outdoor Games and Activities

Using this "kite" as a bird scarecrow in our vineyard. I purchased this JEKOSEN 70" bald eagle along with 5 other different raptor "kites" to use as bird scare to prevent birds eating the cabernet wine grapes as they ripen for harvest in about a month. I mounted it on 10 foot 3/4 PVC pipe with a reducer to 5 feet of 1/2 inch PVC pipe making a pole 15 feet high. I drilled a 1/4 inch hole through the 1/2 inch pipe in the tip about an inch down from the top and looped a zip tie into the tip hole. Then attached 4 feet of kite string to a large fishing line swivel to the zip tied loop and then attached this string with a small paper clip to the kite. The pole and "kite" were zip tied to trellis posts with one "kite" per acre. Very effective the first day out and it continues to be an excellent bird scarecrow after two weeks of use. This model is the best flyer of the 6 different raptor kites I ordered on Amazon. I will be getting a few more. I will be adding a Bird-X noise maker in the coming week for an additional layer of bird scare - just to make my vineyard less desirable and to keep more of my cab grapes on the vine to harvest. Highly recommended as a component of a bird abatement plan in vineyards, gardens and fruit orchards. Works great!

Flew this with my 12 year old son. We got it to almost 1,000 feet. Had a blast.

They kids get very excited seeing this kite. The stability is ok-ish, not the top notch, but hey it's a pretty cheap kite. Stability is good enough to have fun with kids. The only disappointing thing is the durability of the tip of the "head". When the kite falls (it falls "eagle head down") it tears fabric at the top very easily, and in just several falls the frame sticks out. I had to sew it back myself and put a patch. I wish they put some durable piece of thick cloth on that exact spot.

I bought several kites of different styles. We had a family birthday party and thought it would be fun to fly kites. And it was!!! We had 7 kites up at once!! This kite, and all the others I got, were of great quality and just amazing to see high in the sky!! Absolutely recommend these kites and getting outside!!! Everyone had a great time! Assembly required. I didn’t put them together, but it’s not too difficult. The youngest flying kites was 9, and the oldest was 61. :)

Top wing tips threads come apart, flies great, now my grandson is SAD😭, X-RAY CHARLIE, to late to return, buy another brand now.

I can't yet speak to the durability of this because of the short time I've had it, but I have to say, its' a great kite! The design is terrific and, well, it's a kite! I can't imagine there will be any issues with flying it as my dad has one similar in every respect but for the design and we have flown that one. It's quick to take flight and flies really high and it's a lot of fun to get back to a childhood activity. I live close to several beaches and I'm just waiting for the hot summer to end so I can bring it out there for a launch. For what it is, the price point, hours of fun and the great, American look/feel of the Eagle, I recommend it and don't think you'd have any regrets.

This product is of great quality and design. Whomever came up with this knew what they were doing. My grandson and I had tremendous fun with this today. He is 5 years old and this was his first experience with a kite. It is realistic in flight and Red-tailed hawks swarmed around the kite while it was flying. I assume they thought this ”eagle“ was scoping out a food source that they wanted in on. This kite is built to last and a fun product, especially for the price! The string reel that came with it is plenty long and good quality as well.

昨年より週末に三浦の海岸に行くことが増えたため、常に吹く海風を利用して凧を上げたいと思うようになりました。その際にその周辺に多数生息するトンビに似た凧を探していたところ、鷹の凧を見つけ、すぐに購入。先週好天になり、漸く飛ばすことが出来ました。組み立ても簡単で、微風でもすぐに上がり下から見ても本物の鷹、トンビと遜色なくリアルで、近くの子供は本物とも勘違いするほどでした。 次回はもう少し風が強い日に、トンビが飛ぶ中に再度上げたいと考えています。なかなかこのようにリアルな鳥の凧は見つけられなかったので、満足しています。
