It's a great stand for a ipad it was great up and down movement. It stays in place, but it's not very good side to side and it falls over if you don't turn the base as well.

Bought this for my partner and it's perfect. It's really versatile to use. Though the base is heavy it's still portable and easy to set up and pack away. My partner uses it when in the hot tub and whilst reading and sunbathing in the garden. Only thing I was surprised about was the top section doesn't locked into the bottom half, so if you pick it up by top section it comes off in your hand. Not really a problem as you get used to picking it up slightly lower and the top section just pops back in. Makes it quicker for packing away and setting up.

This is a pretty practical alternative to the desk arm ipad holders. It is pretty easy to use, but has one moderate flaw: the holder ball head can only rotate 45° from straight ahead, not the ideal 90°. So you cannot have the main arm perpendicular to your chair and look at the ipad straight on.Another problem was that the two vertical poles did not screw together properly - however, I have informed the supplier, who is sending me a replacement. Overall, good enough.

I have been using my tablet stand for a couple of months now and I am very happy with it.It is made of metal so it will last for years. I have decided to put some weight (a few kilos) on top of the stand's leg for more stability so that I can rotate the stand's hand around freely without thinking every time that it may collapse, likely the design allows to do this.It is an excellent item and a great addition to my ipad.

I use this for by iPad Pro, which it quite heavy.It works perfectly but it can fall if you swivel it sideways from the stand.I have tried table clamp versions and they broke or couldn’t take the weight of my iPad Pro.This is fantastic.I highly recommend it.

Purchased for husband who has carpal tunnel syndrome and can't hold ipad for long, he thinks this is great, so good in fact he may need another for another room save moving it. It is sturdy and angles well, it doesn't dďrop with the weight of ipad at all. Very impressive.

Ok here we go, the package was delivered, luckily while I was in, the driver knocked on my door, not very loud might I add, and by the time I got downstairs he was sat in his van, and left it propped up against the door frame, despite my instructions Not to leave it on the doorstep as my door is directly on the street where any old munchkin could nick it, and this has happened on more than one occasion by the way.Anyway, to the item in question.I was expecting a larger box so I was a tiny bit disappointed, I brought it upstairs and opened it up only to find that the anglepoise top is almost identical to the one I was replacing, the only thing different is the ball joint arm on my old is 10x sturdier, the arm on the new one has a screw in the bottom to stop the arm from coming out of the joint and is also shorter than my old one.The rest of it seems sturdy and solid enough except, as someone has already pointed out that the anglepoise arm just slots into the pole attached to the base and if you're not careful when moving it, it will pull out in your hand as there is no locking mechanism to stop that from happening, I did see a review that said the bottom doesn't move as in the photos but it does, it's just a little stiff that's all.Due to the shortness of the ball joint arm you will have to move the base further down the bed or couch if you are lying down or you won't see the screen full on, it will be at an angle away from you so watching a movie would be irritating, the ball joint allows approximately a 60° angle from centre, so approximately 120° from side to side.The holder itself is sturdy but because of the curvature of the holding arms, if you have a phone with a finger holder or pop up steadying handle you Will need to take it off to use the stand because it won't hold it securely enough, also if you have a thick phone cover, same.So all in all it's adequate for the job, just be careful of heavier phones or tablets.also it could do with being a bit less pricey.I hope you enjoyed my review.

This is really handy and can be positioned in most places, although take the angle poise into account if using it near a wall. The base is heavy enough if you position right and that does take some getting used to. I originally thought it was useless because I couldn’t get it in the right position but then I figured out that the holder needs to be in the same direction as the base. I do have a similar stand with a round base which is far better but apart from the base the rest of this is great. I’ve had spine problems and I use it all the time as I’m lying down, I can type without it rocking and just do everything I normally would.

Tolles Produkt, stabiler Stand, gut einstellbar für den jeweiligen gewünschten Blickwinkel. Platzsparend.

Habe ich gestern aufgebaut. Passt und macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Mal sehen, ob es dauerhaft "in Form" bleibt vor Allem wegen der Federn.Hatte das iPad zunächst mit einer Hülle eingespannt. Das war wohl zu schwer. Ohne Hülle hält es, aber man muss die Schrauben schon sehr fest ziehen. Also, nicht dass das iPad rausfällt. Die Halterung erscheint ebenfalls solide. Aber der Arm ging wegen des gewichtes nach unten mit der Hülle.Langzeiterfahrung folgt dann....

Der Kugelkopf ist viel zu rutschig und schon ein leichtes Handy folgt langsam der Schwerkraft.Alle von mir getestete Tablets (IPad Pro, Air 2) und Smartphones (IPhone 12, Xs, Se2) bleiben nicht in der eingesetzten Position.Daher leider nicht zu gebrauchen. Hab es im Warehouse für 20€ Bestellt aber nichtmal das ist es wert da die Funktion nicht gegeben ist.
