11.5" Portable DVD Player for Kids, Car, Type-C Charger

This dvd player is perfect for anyone who likes to carry movies for a long trip. The screen is a good size, lightweight, can be folded like a tablet and comes with a carrier to put on the headrest of the car. Great sound and quality for a decent price and functions very well for what its needed with good battery time. My little siblings love it for long drives, definitely recommend!

First of all the reason we bought this was to bring along camping so my nephew could watch his dvds! We didn’t want to bring the iPad incase he dropped it or got it wet or lost it, we wanted something less expensive! We didn’t use until our camping trip last weekend and it was a life saver!! A 2 year old doesn’t have much of an attention span for much so he would get restless easily especially outdoors where there wasn’t much for him to do... on one of his tired fussy moments (crying of course) I put his favorite cars movie on and it occupied him till he fell asleep!! Next day same thing once he got tired we popped in his movie and it put him to sleep. Did that 3 days in a row and if it wasn’t for this DVD player we probably would’ve left and went home early! The quality is nice, sound is loud enough for him to hear at a good distance, picture quality looked ok although I was only peeking at it here and there but seemed pretty decent! Price was fair and comparable to others we’ve shopped around for! 1 full charge last the 2 days of him watching here and there, we charged it fully again for the 3rd day of camping and for the ride home! Now that we’re home he brings it to me when he’s tired as if he’s saying I want to sleep please put my movie on... so for what it’s worth this DVD player has made my life a lil less stressful! We’re all outdoors family and always on the go, this will come with us on every outing from now on. I’m hoping it last awhile or at least till he’s out of this cartoon movie phase which could be a year or two!! I would recommend this as a good DVD player, I don’t honestly mind him watching movies as often as he would like, it’s better than playing on iPads or devices as I’ve seen other kids do... I haven’t looked into what kind of warranty there is but hopefully it’s a good one...

DVD player worked great for our family vacation car ride. Kept cranky two year old content throughout the trip. Solid value, the picture and sound are plenty good enough for the back seat. Only negative I have is the USB c cable is very cheap quality and the type c connector broke out of the cable and was briefly stuck in the dvd player. I have plenty of usb C devices and cords so that’s easily replaceable and I can look past that for this device Would buy again

Here is a polished version of your review: I was really excited about this DVD player, and when it worked, I loved it. The first unit worked for the first three DVDs we watched, but after that it stopped reading discs. they sent me a replacement, but unfortunately the replacement had the same problem. In fact, it would not read a single DVD right out of the box, even though I tried multiple brand-new DVDs. I purchased this player for travel on April 8. Shortly after, my dad passed away, and we had a 5-hour drive to attend services. The original player worked on the drive there, which was a huge help with my 3-year-old. The replacement was shipped to my house, so we did not have it for the trip home. Luckily, my daughter slept for most of the drive, and we spent the rest of the time listening to songs together. I recently opened the replacement unit and discovered it would not read any DVDs at all. When I went to return it, I found that my return window had already closed. I am very disappointed because I really liked this product when it worked, but two units having the same issue is frustrating. I would appreciate receiving a replacement DVD player that actually works. If the player could consistently read DVDs as intended, I would be very happy with it.

Well, let’s start with the positives: The color really is very pretty. It’s SUPER lightweight, which was nice. The swivel feature worked fine. The screen size and overall size felt perfect for my son. They approved my return, so the seller seems reasonable. The price is great if your model works. The remote connected easily and all of the cables provided worked. Butttt for the negatives: To start, I STRUGGLED getting anything to play. I tried 6 discs - all of which played perfectly in my laptop, at home DVD player, and car dvd player, both before and after trying them in this portable player - and only one worked. I got the error message for the other five. The one that DID play, was honestly kinda terrible. The picture quality would’ve been fine, but there were 6 or 7 spots on the screen that just sporadically went black or flashed nonstop. The audio was loud enough, if not perfectly crystal clear. It was kinda static-y, but I could’ve overlooked that tbh. In general, I would’ve let my toddler use it for the flight but I would’ve been nervous to let him have it at home or in the car. It seemed like a very delicate player that would break with the first drop it encountered. Rated 3 stars because it wasn’t wholly a waste, it would’ve been fine if the model I received worked properly. I ended up just spending $50 on a kids tablet and downloading some Disney cartoons instead for the flight.

The battery dosent last maybe one hour I tried to return it Amazon would not take it back beware of this garbage

Works flawlessly. Minus half a star because the sound is not quite loud enough. And minus a half star because the seller refuses to honour the 'Free Headphones' coupon in the package. We use ours in the kitchen. Pictured is the player on a custom wood counter stand with mounted Logitech speaker plugged into the player's 3.5mm headphone jack. That external speaker is plenty loud enough for the intended use. We don't use it on battery power so can't comment on that. It would be nice if the infrared remote receiver was on both the front and back of the unit because as seen in the photo we use ours with the screen turned 180 degrees to the back. For us its awkward to reach around and use the buttons and the remote won't work at all with the way we've oriented the unit. I guess I have lots of quibbles but this is the third brand we've tried and the first that actually plays all DVDs consistently.
