Just what my printer needed

Color cartridge was defective - in "protected" status
Printer told me that the color cartridge was "protected" and could only be used in the printer in which it was originally installed. After an hour chatting and troubleshooting with HP they determined that the cartridge was defective. Black cartridge worked fine.

As described and fits perfectly. Only negative aspect is that it doesn't last long. Around 100 pages at the most (either black or color), which I find is not much when it comes to the price paid !
