Highlights:1. Great shoes- classic, timeless style- extremely well made, high quality craftsmanship- comfortable for prolonged walking2. Cost- much cheaper than a plane ticket to Spain, (not to mention, sleep accommodations and food.) I see reviewers complain about price, but these are fully worth the investment.3. SizingI’m typically an 8 (38), occasional 7.5. In designer heels and loafers (non-American), sometimes 38.5 or 39 depending on brand.I ordered 8, and while they looked nice, I immediately ordered the 7. The 8 looked good, but I could already tell that back strap would soon not keep the shoes on my feet. The 7 fit much more appropriately, although I will note that it’s pretty much toe to heel on sole. See photos.I’m a city dweller and walk everywhere, everyday. No way the 8 would have ever worked. And I am a solid size 8 typically. With Pons, size 7 won... Hand down. Quality leather stretches. I will note that I felt no discomfort first day I wore them. Leather is very soft, yet snug and structured. My feet are average to slight wider (basically I can’t wear pointy toe shoes without suffering.)I love love love these! Let me begin this review by saying that as much as I am a shoe lover, I have a lot of trouble finding comfortable shoes! I have a few foot issues (Morton's neuroma, plantar fasciitis, etc) and I stand 90% of the day at work. The challenge is usually not to find a just comfortable shoe, but one that looks fashionable as well. These shoes fit the bill on all accounts! I put them on right out of the package and they are so comfortable. I wear a 9 and have a medium width foot and these fit great. Now the only problem is deciding what other color(s) to buy next!

Update: Below is my original review explaining how tight they were at first and my sizing dilemma. I decided to keep the size 7 because I wanted to see if I could make them work. I wore them around the house while wearing a thin sock (real cute) and it seemed to help stretch and break them in. The first day that I wore them for a few hours out of the house without socks, my last 2 toes really ached by the last hour. After several more days of wear they have broken in and molded to my feet nicely. No more pinching and I wear them just about every day. So thankful that I kept them and worked through the stretching out period.Original Review: As far as style, these are off-the-charts cute. So much so that I ordered them 4 times trying to get a pair that fit, but I have finally given up. I first tried my usual size 7 which seemed like they might be too big. Seemed tight in the toes but the sole of the shoe seemed to big-- looked awkward on my foot. I sent them back for a 6 and the size looked spot-on and was lengthwise but after wearing them around the house for days I could not handle how badly my toes were pinched. So then I ordered a different color in a size 6 hoping the leather might be different or since they are handmade maybe I would luck out and get a wider pair. No such luck. I returned those and ordered a 7 again but again they pinched my toes so badly. I don't have a wide foot. I have never worn a wide shoe. But these must be made for people with narrow feet or long skinny toes. They are so cute. I am so disappointed, but I am not ordering a 5th pair. They seem to be very high quality and I would recommend if you have somewhat narrow feet.

In the pictures I with 2 people & the lady on the left was the color I wanted, like light tan, whereas the lady on the right was wearing a darker tan but there are no picture descriptions so I couldn’t tell which color to choose. After perusing through all the colors, this picture was only shown in the Taupe color & wished for the best. And it was Taupe, very happy with that! Let’s talk about sizing to my feet, I am a size 8.5 & as per one of Avarcas post to a customer, they advised to go the size down rather than up. I followed despite me having long pointy narrow toes. Upon receipt, I quickly put them on seeing how lovely they are made & the quality of the material, but the sizing for me wasn’t just right. For me, it would have been quite perfect if I didn’t have long narrow toes, but also I have to consider that the straps were putting pressure on the backs of my ankles which were uncomfortable, not sure if this is what requires breaking in, but in the dead of winter, I won’t be able to. I feel confident that going to a size 9 instead of the 8 I purchased will be a success.

Buy these sandals! I've had them for about 3 weeks and they get more comfortable by the day. I definitely recommend going by your European size. I ordered a 39 and the sandal says 9 (even though I normally wear an 8-8.5) and they fit perfectly. I tried on a 38 in a store before I ordered these and I could see my toes poking out of the top. I was worried that with the bigger size the leather would stretch to where it would be too big but so far that has not been the case. The leather is definitely more flexible already, but I wouldn't say it has stretched at all. They are so cute and if you have any insecurities with your toes these hide them perfectly! I have worn them for hours at a time and so far have had absolutely no pain in my feet. I'm planning on bringing these to Europe as my "cute/dressy" shoes, and maybe I will remember to update this review when I get back if it goes really well/really horrible. The moral of the story is BUY THEM! And with prime its basically risk free. I recommend the French Blue color. :)

Just got these last night and I’ve been obsessing over them all day! I’m usually a size 6.5 but I ordered a 6 and they fit perfectly. I chose taupe and it comes a little lighter than the photo but the color is really pretty and pairs well with my neutral wardrobe. They’re really comfortable and soft I’m already planning on getting another pair! Definitely worth the price, if you’re considering buying them I’d say just do it!!

Have not walked for long yet in these shoes so not sure yet how they hold up although the quality seems great, or if they will become uncomfortable. The few short times I've worn them so far they have been great and are super comfortable. Really cute too.

I love the way these look and they are well made, but they fit on the narrow side in the toes and the fit itself takes getting used to. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend sizing up because a size up was too long sliding off. If you have wider toes you may have issues.

Love these shoes true to size but you will be charged duty on arrival.

I'm usually size 7.5 in boots and shoes. Candles I sometimes can go a 7 if they are open. I got these in a 7. A little sore the first few wears but now they are amazing.

Love them.
