This little vice does what it's supposed to do, but with some limitations. Being mostly made of plastic, it does tend to move around when in use. To reduce this, I filled mine with ball bearings to increase its weight, and also added some non-slip to the underside. This made it much more stable. The other improvement that could be made is adding a little lubrication to the screw thread to make it a little smoother. Other than that, it's proved to be a very useful item.

The vice is made from solid plastic and seems strong. The jaws are opened and closed by screwing a large, knurled knob which on my sample this was impossibly tight, so getting it to move at all was fairly painful work. A teflon spray on the main screw made little difference, but the unit can be made to work better if you slighly loosen the large screw on the under side of the vice so that the metal washer can slide more easily. You'll need a large crosshead screwdriver for this.

Before buying this mini vice, I did look around before deciding on this one and I'm very glad I did. It is very good quality and does exactly as described. Delivery was on time and packaged very well. The price was very good for such a robust mini vice. I use it to hold my resin crafts in place as an 'extra hand' when working them during design and completion. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a mini vice if you need an extra hand! The orange grips are detachable with a screw driver so you have various options for clamp options applicable to what your wanting to hold in place. It holds objects or various sizes especially spere shapes which was one thing i definatly needed the vice to do. A very hardy, versatile and helpful product which I 100% recommend 👍

I needed something to hold bottle tops while I drilled holes in them, this does the trick. It is very small but it works well and it was pretty cheap 🤷🏻‍♀️

alles wie für den Preis erwartet, mit sehr kleinen Macken: ein Schraubgewinde läufte bisschen schwer, und beim Haupt- Schraubzwinggewinde, merk man die Kunststoffnaht beim drehen. Alles halb so schlimm, Ein bisschen Silikonspray und bisschen Nacharbeit, fertig. Ich bin trotzdem mit dem Preis-Leistung Verhältnis zufrieden.
