Got2b Volumaniac Spray Powder, 0.28 oz

I have long, straight, fine hair that is getting thinner as I age (I'm 52). I use a curling iron or deep waver for a soft, wavy style but volume has always been a problem for me no matter how I blow dry or curl my hair. When I tried this product I was absolutely amazed at the results. The first few times I used it, I went waaay overboard so just know a teeny tiny bit goes a long way. Once I am done blow-drying my hair, I apply heat protectant & then use my iron or deep waver to curl my hair. After curls cool, I separate each curl, tease a little bit and apply Kenra Dry Texture Spray or Tresemme Dry Texturizing Spray from roots to mid length. Then I flip my head over & spray 3 puffs of this product, one at the roots at back of head & 1 puff on each side. I tousle with my fingers to disperse the product & flip my hair back over & I have crazy volume that lasts! The only drawback is that it makes your hair a little tacky where you apply it but if you use it sparingly & fluff with your fingers, it isn't the worst. This stuff works & you can't beat the price. I stocked up on it because I tend to find a product that works for me & they discontinue it. I highly recommend this product!

So I love volume powder especially now that my hair is short. I however, always hated the application until I found this wonderful little miracle! I don't have thick hair but I do have a lot of fine hair per sq inch so it gives the illusion of being thick. However it always falls flat. I can tease it to Jesus and spray it like hell and with in an hour it's flat again😒 this powder spray keeps my hair nice and pumped! It's like Arnold Schwarzenegger for your hair "I'll pump you up"! I can tease my hair, spray a little of this magic dust at my roots (perfect application every time) and BAM! It stays voluminous ALL FREAKING DAY! I may have to run my hands through it about half way through the day to re pump it up but other than that I don't have add more. I will say it is a little bit sticky/tacky which is fine for me as it also helps to create the texture I need. So just keep that in mind. This really is amazing stuff and at a great price!

I just got a pixie cut and have a bit of natural wave to my hair, so I just needed something to give a little more volume and styling to my hair. I quickly discovered I hate hair waxes on my short hair, but this volume powder is perfect for me and keeps my hair styled while also looking "soft" and not full of product. A little goes a long way- I do mini pumps across sections of my roots so I can apply just a very small amount more evenly through my hair. (Fair warning- the first initial pump of this might be a lot when it comes out- especially if you push all the way down on the pump- so heads up!) Be warned this definitely does not have any super strong hold to it, and I find that once I fluff things up, things will deflate after a little time goes by, but I'm ok with that because I don't like using hairspray or need any kind of super spiked or firm hold all day style, just a little volume. And you can easily refluff the hair a bit throughout the day if needed, without gross residue on your hands like you'd have from a wax. Love the affordable price point as well. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a little volume and texture.

My hair is very fine and not very thick so without volume it 'sticks' to my head and looks very flat and stringy. The first time I used this product I didn't like it.......I used way too much! It is a powder and it does have a bit of a sticky feel but isn't that what we need to keep volume in our hair?! The amount of stickiness is up to you. After drying my hair I shake the product, lift sections of my hair and 'LIGHTLY' pump the powder throughout my hair. Then I use my fingers to plump it up. The keys I've found to using this product are to shake it up and to gently pump the powder on your hair. I do it from about 8 inches above so it drifts down on my hair. I wouldn't say this is the only product I use as I like to switch it up but this one is definitely staying in my arsenal.

Mixed feelings about this product. It offers fantastic hold, but I don't want anyone looking at me. Spray it into the roots of your hair and you'll have great volume and hold for hours. Problem is that you'll also look like you have a very serious skin condition all the time it's in your hair. And I mean "serious" skin condition. I used it just before I was due to give a presentation and be on camera, and I only used 1 squirt; huge mistake - I should've tested it out first. I looked contagious! There's not a quick fix either as it sticks like glue and doesn't wash out easily. Now I'm not saying that I won't use it again, because I probably will, just with caution (and the benefit of hindsight).

Where has this been all my life? My hair is heavy and unless I wash/style it every day it just lays flat. It's also very dry so I don't want to dry and style it every day. I have tried every volumizer under the sun and never really landed on any that was particularly good. I do like the powder you shake on your roots but, it's application is very limited. Conversely, you can shoot this wherever you want it. Having said all that: USE VERY SPARINGLY!! The first time I used it I shot too much in one spot, tried to fluff it, and barely got my hand out of my hair. It took forever to brush it out. But if you use it in tiny little blasts it is fabulous! I brush through it before I go to bed at night and in the morning I can fluff my hair and it's fabulous again. Which saves me from having to style my poor dry hair every single day. I've even stretched it to two days. This stuff rocks.

I've used many brands of 'Volumizing' powders & I just tried this one for the 1st time. It rather amazed myself & my hair stylist when I took it to her salon. I have fairly thick, shoulder length w/some long layers, auburn hair, but the strands themselves are fine making it somewhat a challenge to hold various styles. After washing/light conditioning, volumizing mousse, a 'sea-salt' beachy spray, I dry my hair. I then curl with whatever heat appliance I happen to choose & sprinkle a light dose of this powder, lifting up sections as I go & lightly work it through my roots & all-over my hair. I get the added grip that makes it easier to style my hair ... braids, messy bun or 1/2 up 1/2 down etc. For me, this stuff creates instant volume with no white powder residue, no stickiness, just touchable, flexible grip/volume all over or wherever I need it.

This product definitely works but it leaves a weird feeling in your hair. Once you put some in, it's like a sticky feeling after film almost and you will need to wash your hair. Other than that, it gives good lasting volume. If you don't mind the after cast, this is a decent product.

This product is such an OG for me! I was super impressed by this spray powder. It instantly gives you so much volume. I didn't notice any residue or itchiness on my scalp. Long lasting and the volume it gives to your hair is just "oomph". A bit sad that there's no big bottle for this one. Definitely going to stack up.

I don't do hair products so much but I love this powder. My hair is fine and straight. Gives me lift and adds some personality to my hair :) And it lasts for days. I get up in the morning and use my hands to puff my hair and done. That's the type of hair product I like. No muss, no fuss.

Noticeable volume!

Hard to run a comb through your hair once you have this in your hair.
