Brian Wilson

This is a great album with a number of solid songs on here. I would say that it still holds up as Brian's best solo album and there are nods to his early days singing about the Rio Grande and with One for the Boys with it's Beach Boys harmonies. And then there are songs reminiscent of Pet Sounds on here too. Listen to There's So Many and Melt Away. Then go run out and buy this. It's nice to hear Love and Mercy in it's entirety too since Brian often plays a shortened version of it live.

If you liked Pet Sounds, you will love this album. Beautiful melodies and harmonies and Brien's voice is unchanged from his twenties.

AMAZING!!! Came in AMAZING condition! No dog ears on the record! Records had 0 lint on them so it came without skips!! I was so excited for this to come and it met my expectations! (If anything it went above!). The album was beautifully remastered and sounds amazing. No pops or cracks! In the end I would give it 100 stars if I could. Definitely buy. (Did I mention it's SEALED)

I am a Brian Wilson fan and this does not disappoint. Gets better every time I listen.

初版からの買い足し。ただよく調べないとボーナストラックがないのがあります。ボーナストラックがあるのがライノリマスターですのでそこを調べないと僕のように1度返品したりします。そこの確認が取れたものをお買いになるのがいいでしょう。

これはボートラ入のリマスター盤ではないです。88年に出たオリジナルの再発です。実はリマスター盤出たのに合わせて、当時持っていたオリジナルを売っちゃったのですが、リマスター盤は音圧は上がったけど、必ずしも良くなく、特にLet it shineなんかは、ミックスが異なるというか、全体的にうるさく、J・リンの好きな降下してくるギター音は聴き取り難くなったし、ティンパニの音も爆発音のようになっていて、オリジナル音源の整然とした感じが明らかに変わってしまっていました。今になって、やっぱり昔の音で聴きたいと思い20数年ぶりに買い直した次第です。この曲に関しては、やっぱりオリジナルの音が好きですね。これから買われる方、これはオリジナルフォーマットでの再発です。リマスターではありません。気をつけてください。でも、これはこれで良いです。
