While itโs the eighth book by publication date, it can easily be read in any order. This installment explores the idea of connection, not just with other people, but also with nature and, most importantly, with ourselves. Through short chapters filled with stories, allegories, and simple lessons, Hanh offers practical guidance on living with more presence and compassion. The style is light and accessible, making it easy to pick up and absorb. I listened to the audiobook and found the narration warm and calming, which added to the experience. With mantras and breathing exercises woven throughout, itโs a soothing and inspiring read that encourages deeper awareness in daily life. Always an enjoyable experience! Very Important and Needed
This book is beautiful in so many ways, The prose is very peaceful yet compelling, in a spiritual way. I have been reading Thich Nhat Hanh for the past 10 years. I always feel so close to the Source when I am meditating to his writings. The addition thought that meditation collectively with people from all over the planet will have a significant impact on our daily life. He states that if we focus on the issues with the world, this will allow us to rise above our own problems and indeed, through loving our planet,we will learn to love ourselves and our earthly civilization. Highly Recommended
The theme of How to Connect is that mindfulness is the end to the illusion of seperateness, and to heal the illusion of isolation . We are often distracted from true communication, which can lead to negative communication. We must interact and listen to ourselves to fully engage with others. Coming home with Earth, we realize as we step in walking mediation, we are touching the entire Earth. We see this in images of the Earth from space with its thin ozone shield protecting it from above. Seeing everything as โinter-beingโ requires us, for example, to truly see something, to look at every element of its existence. It is the same with connecting with humans. It awakens our connection, our joy and our suffering everywhere. Everything exists interdependent of anything, and there is nonself. During mediation, we connect with the entire Earth and all of humanity. Thich Nhat Hhan recognizes the necessity to restore the Earth.

I feel good because TNH makes me connect with my body, my mind, my spirit. I feel good because TNH makes me connect with my myself and all others. TNH makes me connect with the past, the present and the future. It is so good to be in harmony and connected with the Universe in an opened and peaceful way.
