Bought these when I noticed mice going into my garage. I set the bait trap down, bur because of all the garage clutter I couldn't reach the walls. So I put the bait squares (broke them up into three pieces first) in the garage without the trap and have had good results. No more mice, no more evidence of mice. Caution though do not use the product without the plastic trap if you have any pets as it can be fatal to your dogs or cats.

These work great. But Amazon shipped them in a bag which my dog tore open and ate the product. Good thing he is 160lbs. The active component cause brain swelling and other organ damage be careful around small pets and call poison control if ingested. Animal size and and amount ingested are important in determining if your animal will survive.

Been having a problem with a few mice and D-con always worked. The one we use to buy many years ago worked perfectly and got rid of them but now it doesn't, the mice didn't bother going for it. I bought this in order to see if this might work but it turns out those annoying mice didn't bother going for the bait. I laid out 8 baits in several hidden locations away from my dogs and where the mice are usually heard and not a nibble was on any of the baits. There was however poop near it so they did know it was there but never went for it. This completely sucksEdit: I still stand by my review and if there were an option i would of given this a negative rating. We left the baits out longer and the rats have definitely been eating them but it's been a few more days and there have been absolutely no sign of them slowing down or dieing, like the poison isn't really poison and we just fed them candy instead. Im really disappointed about this, D-con use to work and was really effective but now it's completely useless and does nothing for the rats.

It’s not a 10 count.It’s only one bait holder so I bought what I thought was multiple bait potential uses-but it’s only one and then the rest of the bag is full of base so you have to put in this one. The bait. station is hard to open because of these latches that you have to squeeze with one hand while you’re opening the bait station with the other hand.
