These nice looking plastic humidity trays Stand to provide the extra moisture that bonsai orchids ferns and African violets need. Just add water to these very attractive trays and the water will slowly evaporate adding needed humidity. This Square Tray is a fabulous tool for creating a more humid environment for your plant. Humidi-Grow Trays will allow you to use pots with large drain holes the overflow will pass through the pot and collect in the tray where the settled water will evaporate and help offset the loss of transpiration of moisture through the leaves. You can have your plants on various pieces of furniture and wood and do not have to mess with saucers or pebbles or worry about getting water damage from the pot on your favorite wooden or metal table. This tray is designed for ease of use and minimal care. Just empty the old water then when the tray gets dirty wash the tray and grid with mild soap and water and then refill with water. Your indoor plants will remain fresh and healthy. You should leave a little water in the tray all the time so that as the water in the tray evaporates it will create a constant humid environment for the plant and help offset the loss of moisture through the leaves. Also, are great for using under hanging grow white lights. Other uses are placed near a glass window on a high gold, ceramic, bronze, brown, marble, or heavy duty folding cart, chair, shelf, or caddy. The possibilities are endless whether it's on vertical shelves or divider rack.

Best large humidity tray of the market !!
I have searched high and low for a large humidity trays on the web. I grow about 72 small orchids here in Las Vegas. The better growers in our Las Vegas Orchid Society either have green house with misting systems OR humidity trays. So after 4 + yrs. I decided that this could help. My humidity above the tray went from 34% to 46 % in 1 hour. I have a small compact temp. & humidity guage sitting on the tray. After all we do not intend to increase the total humidity in the room , only the area above the leaves. Today my guage is reading 51% with rain outside. Normally each pot is sitting in a plastic jar lid otherwise after watering I would have a royal mess on my table. Some user suggested that I continue to use these as too much humidity will not let the plants to dry out between waterings ( one every 7 days for me)and could cause rot problems. I have decided to go full bore and place each watered plant on the tray without my peanut butter jar lids . Time will tell if I'm right, but for the past couple of weeks everything looks normal. BTW the tray will hold 2 gallons of water. In 1 week 1 gallon has evaporated and should be toped up.This was the best price on the web ( looked on Ebay as well).

Five Stars
These are expensive but should work well with water wicking my plants.

Solid tray, almost too much so!
Solid tray, almost too much so! I had my last humid grow branded tray for 15 years before finally replacing it. It catches all of the water and keeps my tropical bonsai nice and humid.

Works Great, No Leaks
It's actually dark brown, not black like the photo, but I don't care. The racks are sturdy enough to hold heavy trays and the bottom tray is surprisingly sturdy too (I expected something flimsier given my past experience with these things). Haven't had any leak issues.
