This product is truly a game changer for stain removal. I have 4 kids who frequently stain their clothes, and this product couldn’t be more helpful. Honestly, for how effective the product is, it is a pretty good value. You very well might end up buying yourself a refill, but it is also a good portable size. It has a good texture, and is not to sticky. It is a cute and durable bottle, but most importantly to product inside is very effective.

We have been using this stain remover for quite some time, and it is one of the best ones I have found on the market. It is a fantastic value for the money, since a little goes a long way (my last bottle lasted close to 2 years) and is portable enough to bring to wherever it is needed in our house to pre-treat a stain. The scent is a bit strong, but it doesn't last long and is completely removed after washing. I haven't really seen it do much whitening since I usually just use it on colored clothing. It seems fairly safe and has never caused us any skin issues - either on the clothes after use or if any get on our skin.

I like this product because it doesn't have to be applied directly before washing; it can stay on the stain for about a week prior to washing. I also like the little scrub applicator.

I don’t know how this stuff works but it’s like a miracle spot cleaner. Even got spits off my sun visor. Love it. Good value. Will last a long time.

This stuff is magical the way it removes spots. I can't tell you how many t-shirts and sweatshirts this Shout stain remover has saved for me. It is great at removing blood and anything oily. The only thing I've found that it doesn't remove is ink stains. Also, it's best to get to the stain immediately. I slosh a gob of Shout on the stain and brush it in with the cool little plastic brush, and then throw the clothing in my hamper until wash day. It's never bleached out color or anything like that, even though sometimes it sits for days before I actually wash it. Great product!

This is the only stain remover you need to keep in stock. Bar soap and cold water for blood, but for everything else, this stick will work the first time around. I gob it up and use the scrubby style cap to properly work it into the spot. Though I peek at stain removal successes before baking them in the dryer, it is always tackled perfectly by the advanced gel the first time around, for all the usual spots; salad dressing/oil, wine and tomato sauce, coffee, etc. Modern detergent can also be boosted by adding back in a few sprinkles of borax (which was removed years ago to save the environment). Rinse twice if you use a bunch of added gel and borax, of course.

I have to say - I am so impressed with how quickly and thoroughly this product works! The gel combined with the scrubbing using the attached brush is an effective combo. I made a sizable mess today and had to use this on white fabric. I watched the stain disappear very quickly as I scrubbed the gel into the fabric. I washed and dried the fabric and looked hard for remnants of the stain and found NOTHING. I've never had a stain remover that was THIS effective until now. I purchased it because some article I read recommended it as a high quality product and I'm so glad they were right! Shout Advanced Stain Remover will be a staple of my laundry supplies going forward.

I had 2 clothes items with stubborn grease stains. I had previously tried all kinds of laundry sprays, baking soda & dish soap and several wash cycles and nothing removed the stain. I bought this and washed with a little Oxy Clean and both stains are now gone!
