VR3 FM Transmitter with Audio Input

I first purchased this item in 2007 at my local Walgreen store for $20. Since then, this FM transmitter went through goods and bads of my life with me for 5 years. Of course, I had to change the cable twice, but the durability and longevity of this item were just amazing. During summer of 2011, I noticed that I only get sound on one side, and only at certain configuration, I would get sound on both sides of the speaker. Then beginning of this year, my FM transmitter finally died. So I bought my second one through Amazon, but this time I wasn't so lucky because it died after one month. I tried to change the fuse, but it didn't work. Now, I just bought my third one, and maybe this time I would get lucky. The sound quality is decent, and it doesn't have any cool features, but it does the job.

I had heard poor reviews of even the more expensive FM transmitters so decided to try out this cheaper one. But the sound quality is really poor and was no fun at all. I stopped using it within a day. I am planning to install a new Audio system with Aux input instead. You get good ones starting from 70-odd $. And u can have it installed for another 40$ from Frys.

I had a grey one like this and it broke. I was glad to find this one. I love it but the cord for connection is way too short. I had to buy a longer cord to connect to my dvd in the car. I think that it couldve been a little clearer but I was still able to hear it.

This item did not come with instruction (Not that I need it) or have a interface for a flash stick. I miss placed my old one which supported fach stick

Did not work! Pure static on all stations! Had to buy a diffrent brand and worked perfect.

Of all the FM adapters I've tried this one works the best. I can change it to a wide range of stations (a problem with others), and its strong enough to come thru on my radio (signal strength on most a problem. Con is i can't get it to last a year. It always gets a short in it one place or the other. I have had 4 of them.

This thing works ok, but in my opinion is really substandard. There is constant audible static on all channels. I have tried it on 2 different car stereos and the results are always the same. If you are listening to loud music and driving on the highway, the background noise may cover up the constant static, otherwise you are going to hear it. I wrote to tech support and they could not help. It seems the product I received is simply a poor one. If you want something cheap and don't care too much about quality then it might be worth getting. If you are picky about sound quality I don't recommend it. All of these FM transmitters will somewhat diminish the quality of the music compared to havening a direct connection to your stereo anyway.

i had this item before, about 5 years ago! i tried more expensive ones but, somehow vr3 worked the best, for the money that it costs u cant go wrong,i like this cheap one!
