Comfortable and warm, but fit leaves some to be desired
Fit: The seem to fit well and fairly true to size (5'10" 220lb, XL is a good fit). Downside is that the fabric is unlike most of its competitors - 100% polypropylene. This means it does not have the same stretch most do. The way it is stitched makes it so it hugs your legs well, but does not hug very well around your hips, and can sag a bit around curves. Additionally, the waistband is not as wide or as tight as some are, and while it doesn't roll over, it does slide down fairly easily, which ends up with looseness down your body if not kept in check.Feel: They have a vertical stitching pattern that is both visible to the eye and to the touch. It's almost like that of a tank top, but more coarse, to where you can feel the ridges ever so slightly. Not unpleasant, but not the same as others in this field.Appearance: The stitching as mentioned is clearly visible but not bad (see picture for clarity). Probably due to the lack of spandex, it is pleasantly perfectly opaque, even when stretched out. These would be perfect for lounging around as a byproduct. Also, because of the looser fit sans-spandex, they also don't hug your groin as much and make you less visible.Function: It was a paltry 30 degrees out this morning and I didn't even know until I got to the office. I could not feel the wind nor the cold, even though I was only wearing thin dress pants on top of them. These do not have a fly opening, which may be a deal breaker for some, but was a buying point for me, as I wanted product that could be worn as loungewear as well. As for keeping cool, I work in a large office that tends to vary from frigid to boiling, but I have yet to complain about being too warm.Wear and tear: At the end of a single day of wear around the office and at home, they were still in mint condition. After a wash (cold/tumble low) they had very slight shrinkage, but still in good condition. They do seem to be one of those garments that seem to act as a magnet for hair in the wash though.Bottom line: 4/5. These are a comfortable pair of pants that hug your body and keep it warm and are opaque, but a lackluster fit and waistband keep them from shining above.

My boys needed thermals for an overnight camp trip with Scouts. They said these thermals were fantastic!

Nice and warm...fits well...this last cold spell with snow and ice proved that they are warm.

which has always been fine with other brands
I ordered XXL, which has always been fine with other brands. However, this brand of XXL was very small. It seems like it was made XXL for children they are so small. I can't begin to even think about putting them on they are so small.

I use Large size for my boxer brief, and this one fits too. Not a thick cotton, a little thin but flexy and comfy
I like the fit of the product. Fits very well.
