Merc e350 simply doesn't recognize this cable. It only works as a charging cable or funny enough as Aux input (with terrible audio quality)Exact same situation - original merc cable for lighting inputs works great!

I have a 2014 MB E350 NTG4.5 and this adapter works so well for my music. My factory Bluetooth for some reason has a lot of static now. CD/DVD works fine. For a while now I was getting so frustrated because I couldn't use my factory HK system to it's full potential through the Bluetooth connection. With this adapter, I can now play music from my phone and enjoy my sound system.Oh, it works through the AUX mode... and it works so well!!!!!!

This USB-C connection allows use on Auxiliary mode, but doesn't connect on media mode which would allow song selection and album info to show on the dashboard screen. The sound quality is okay, but the lack of full connectivity is disappointing. Why is this so hard?

Amazon should do a better job in making sure no false marketing takes place on their platform… product doesnt work as they say it should… doesnt work as media interface nor does it work as an AUX payed for the product and shipping and was useless

Doesn't really charge phone. Gives it a slow charge. Message in phone stated slow charging and use manufacturers charger. Doesn't send media information from phone to car.
