I am doing PT for a rotor cuff tear surgery and my range of motion outgrew my broomstick! It has been about 14 months since my surgery and I was so happy when I finally got to a point that I could add more weight. I also needed something shorter than the usual barbell. This fits perfectly. I do have to wear gloves, my hands are pretty tender and the bar is cold and it has a non-slip texture that rubs on my palms. I suppose that would be the case with any weight lifting bar. I am very happy with it and as I get stronger there is plenty of room for me to add more weight.

Works great for overhead tricep extensions and hammer curls! I definitely recommend adding this to your home gym!

I was reluctant to buy this because of the price, but I’m glad I did. You get what you pay for and even though I was tempted to buy cheaper bars, the quality isn’t good. This bar is pretty heavy and I like the grips. This has solid welds and I don’t regret this purchase.

I have a small gym in my second bedroom with a few free weights, bans and curl bar. This is a perfect addition to my routine workout!!

Addition to my work out equipment very well made

I very much enjoy how sturdy and great the knurling feels on the bar, you can tell the bar is high quality overall. The downside is, for my particular bar, the loading part of the bar, where you put the plates, are slightly different sizes on each side. This is only a problem when you load the max amount of plates you can load on the bar in which one side the spin collar just fits and the other side the spin collar falls off. Another problem is the grips of the bar on my particular bar are slightly angled (not straight) so the when holding the bar there is a slight shift to one side of the bar when doing an exercise. The last thing is the rubber on the spin collars and the end of the losing part of the bar. Both are wearing pretty bad and ripping up. Customer service seems to be nonexistent considering I emailed the the company and sent them a message through amazon messaging, however no response. So overall, I still use the product and it does feel like it’ll last, the biggest problem is the inconsistency of my particular bar (you might get a better bar than me) and customer service have not heard one thing from them.
