Good and strong product.

Yes this tool is heavy but looks to be good quality. Just know that it throws a bit of weight on the end of a pole.

Sturdy abd versatile

First- I spent a lot of years building houses and have done a lot of drywall work. Bought this because it was larger than my on-hand pole sanding gear which is old, and I'm restoring an old house. Two problems. First- the paper clap system is difficult to use, and poorly designed. However, the real issue is control. The swivel joint does not give you control; it allows the head to turn sideways and generally refuse to cooperate! About 10 minutes of that and I go back to my old gear. Can't fix poor design in this case.

Update: I bumped this up to three stars because given enough time and energy it is workable. Still not anything close to good in my opinion. This is the fifth pole sander I’ve bought and the first on Amazon. The swivel head is very free and moves easily, which sounds good, but it’s not really. It’s only comparable to the first one I ever bought that had that kind of loose moving pivot point. Except my first one had two butterfly screws that would allow you to lock it in place, or at least you could tighten so it didn’t move that freely. So this will take you some time to master if you buy it. This is definetly a product you will have to use an old piece of sandpaper if you don’t use a pole sander often. With the rubber pad and loose pivot points, it will flip all over the place with new paper on there. I’ve been doing this since I was a kid with my dad in our old house. Not a professional, but I’m no amateur either. Be aware of what you are buying. Original review: This thing is awful. It is unusable. You can’t lock the head in any position so if your not holding the actual part that swivels it will just flip up when you apply any pressure at all. I honestly don’t know why amazon is selling this or who in their right mind gave it good reviews.

This holder is good for the price gets the job done.

Item is very sturdy, the pivot head moves around pretty freely. Has a rubber bottom not foam like some. Reason for the two stars. . . the sander arrived with a convex bottom. I press down on one corner and the other corner lifts of the table by a good 1/4" Currently trying to heat the plastic with a heat gun then clamping it down to a straight edge board to correct.

A touch too heavy with an awkward hinge, and the backing for the sandpaper seems to be a touch too hard and it causes the sandpaper to scratch on the edges

Not recommended. Impossible to use without the head flip flopping around and gouging the finish. I will be returning this.

Difficult to use. Flops when sanding drywall.
