I bought a couple different brands of rug to try them out and see which I liked best. This was the best quality of that and I returned some of the others. It was fluffy right out of the packaging with minimal effort on my part. It is soft on the feet. I don't know how it will be after it is washed no matter how careful I am. Because everything that I've had in the past that was very, no matter how Good the quality, and even if I washed it gentle on cold... The fur was never the same. This might well be the same way, but if so it is not a product issue as much as an issue with buying faux fur and trying to keep it clean. At this price though, if it doesn't look right after a couple cleanings, I will just buy another one.Because it is white, you have to expect that it will show every piece of dirt in it and you will have to pick it out or keep it clean in another way. I could have minimized that by not buying white. Again, not a product issue.I see some people buying this for their pets and then being upset that it doesn't hold up. It won't with animal fur oils and that kind of traffic. but for something soft next to my bed with light foot traffic, it's perfect.

I wanted this cozy little rug for my bedroom, between my bed and bathroom. It is the softest, coziest rug to set my feet on first thing in the morning, stepping out of bed! It's not super thick but over my carpet it's perfect. I wasn't sure it would hold up in the wash so I was very careful to just shake it out , not wash it, hoping to prolong it's beauty and softness. Until yesterday when I spilled a diet coke on it! I was so sad! Surely this thing would be wrung to sheds in the washing machine. But I thought I would try before tossing it and buying a new one. I washed on delicate cold. It came out looking great! I fluffed it on airdry in the dryer and it instantly came back to life! Soft and fluffy and gorgeous as ever! I'm happy!!

Rug is so soft, my cat now thinks it's a cloud and refuses to leave. My feet sink in like marshmallows. It's so fluffy, I almost expected to find Narnia underneath. Warning: may cause excessive lounging and spontaneous naps. Five stars for pure, fuzzy joy!

The media could not be loaded. I had a solid gray one that did not look nearly as beautiful as this one. The texture and the color is incredible. It doesn’t shed and it washed as well. I keep it on my Ottoman because it is a light color and the kids tend to sit and crawl around on it. Looks super elegant and more expensive than it is.

ITS AWFUL!! COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. The image showed to sell the product looks more fluffy and almost like a pretty cool dyed sheepskin rug, the reality is total misrepresentation! It is the cheapest material and it is the size of an average door matt. Why are Amazon not regulating these awful products ??? I am no longer risking buying many products from Amazon and many of my friends are boycotting Amazon for the same reason, zero regulations especially regarding overseas products. CB

When looking for a tabletop cover, I came across many pelt type tops being sold. Some were faux and some were real. So when this showed up, I admit, I had to go back into Amazon to make sure I ordered a faux pelt. Its that good.Will it confuse your local taxidermist? No, probably not. But people who don't know, probably wont know its not real. The back lining is not the cheap costume or floor rug lining material. Its thick and feels just like real suede, adding some nice weight to the product.Very minimal shedding when I opened the package and haven't noticed any shedding since. It has also held up to some pet abuse, as my cat has decided its her new favorite place to sleep.Overall quality VS price, I'm pretty impressed.
