A big hit in kindergarten!
I absolutely adore the Mercy Watson series. I read this series to my class of kindergartners, and they begged for more! Kate DiCamillo, weaves fun, engaging stories, while adding a bit of humor for the adults as well. I have since purchased this box series for my own children, and I know it will be a timeless classic in our home.

Nice Collection & Good Read
My son received one of the book for Christmas and loved it so much that he wanted the collection. I got this as a Christmas gift for him and he was so happy.

Very entertaining stories
My daughter loved the Mercy Watson stories and I loved reading them to her! Very funny!

Always a surprise at the end.
If you love funny stories you will love Mercy Watson! It has so many characters for kids. We are First graders and we love these books. We have all of them! One reason it is a funny story is that Mercy likes buttered toast. Also, the author Kate comes up with new silly characters in each book. There are 6 books. This character named Eugenia is funny when she is always grouchy. This is why Mercy is the best!!!

What a great book set for late first grade readers!! Colorful vocabulary, high interest, and beautiful illustrations!
