Vitamin C Mixed Greens Nutrient-Rich Cleanser Face Oil

Acne-prone combo skin here. I got this cleanser because I was running out of my usual Cerave cleanser. This cleanser lathers really well, personally 1 pump is enough for my face and neck. The fragrance is a little too strong but it smells like a spa to me (citrus and clean). However, because of this, if your skin is sensitive to fragrance, be cautious. I usually leave this on my face for about a minute to get the best out of all the ingredients in the cleanser. So far so good, my skin has been feeling very soft and healthy!

I love this cleanser. It has a similar, yet not quite as strong scent as my Aveda Botanicals cleanser but at about 1/2 the price. If you love that classic green somewhat woodsy Aveda scent, you'll love this. And if it is gentle and doesn't irritate my skin (like most products do at times) then it will probably work well for you too! I have always had a mild rosacea (since puberty) and I am perimenopausal now which for me means out of nowhere maybe 3-4 times per year I get a horrible flare up of redness and inflammation to where my face looks like I laid out in the tropics on a beach somewhere without sunscreen wearing baby oil! Ugh! (YES.. like many of us, I stupidly did that in my younger years). Anyway, this cleanser works as well and is as gentle as Cetaphil, Cerave, Avene, Neutrogena Gentle and other cleansers I've used at those overly sensitive times AND has a nice scent as I mentioned. I first found this line of products at Target, but they are no longer carrying this cleanser it seems for some reason. It would be a shame if this cleanser was being discontinued (???) So I'd say, try it while you can.

Fyi I've only used this cleanser for a week so far but these are my initial thoughts: 1. This is the first out of numerous cleaners that has not left my sensitive combination skin irritated or with that horrible tight feeling. 2. I only need one pump for my whole face and neck so this should last a long time. It also lathers pretty well! 3. Leaves my face feeling hydrated and pillowy soft but also well cleansed. 4. This cleanser has no added fragrance but does have a very mild scent which is due took the combination of the bergamot and other fruit oils. I get migraines from most scented products but this one doesn't even register with me which I am very thankful for! 5. I do hope they come out with a version without the bergamot oil to eliminate the possibility of skin irritation for everyone. I will update later if there are any issues but so far this one is a keeper! 6 Months Later and this is now my staple cleanser! It calms any irritation that I am having unlike any other cleanser that I have been using. Plus it lasts me a really long time!

I love the brand and packaging. And this cleanser certainly hasn't caused any issues with my skin and plays nicely with my other skincare products, but I just don't know that it's really... doing anything. I'm giving it 4 stars because the whole experience of using it is enjoyable, and because what it claims to contain are things I want in a cleanser. But in the absence of third party testing to verify the claims and/or efficacy of the key ingredients, I'm not sure if I'll buy more once I run out. All that said, if you're looking for a non-aggressive, general purpose cleanser, give this one a try. The earthy smell (which I personally enjoy) is gentle and fades as soon as you wash it off.

This is an all-around good cleanser. It has a lightly earthy scent and milky gel texture. It does a good job of removing makeup and oil without stripping skin, and without having to use much product. Like most cleansers, I do have to do a small double cleansing, if I am wearing mascara to get it completely off. The pump packaging works well. I got lucky and was able to find this on sale.

I watch Mixed Makeup's channel on YouTube and was excited to try a few products...this being one of them. The cleanser was packaged perfectly, felt very lux & weighted. The bottle is easy to use and hasn't clogged up once. The formula is perfect for my oily skin. I use it with my Foreo and it gives me the perfect lather that I'm looking for....not too bubbly but just right. The smell is what you would expect when you see the name "mixed greens", not a load of alcohol or perfume which I appreciate. It's got a good balance of great ingredients that I was excited to put on my face. I trust this brand and look forward to using more of their products.

I am about to purchase my third bottle of this cleanser and I really felt the need to leave a review. It is an amazing cleanser! It doesn’t dry out my skin, it leaves it soft and it feels very clean. I don’t really wear makeup just sunblock and mascara, and it removes them no problem. I am 38 so I have used quite a lot of cleansers (expensive and cheap but always as natural/organic as I can find) sometimes they break me out or dry out my skin. I have never repurchased a product before. I think this product works wonderful for my sensitive skin. I have purchased several products in the naturium line because I can see results and my skin feels wonderful.

I don't have very sensitive skin and can use a lot of cleansers really interchangeably. However, this wash irritated my skin and caused me to break out after the first wash. I continued for a couple days but it worsened so I discontinued use. Some good things about the wash are the smell (Which I suspect had something to do with my break outs) was really refreshing and enjoyable. Foams well. Doesn't leave any film after use like some washes.
