May be an Indian import but still a valid Casio.
If bought through "Buzz on Ecom", be aware that it may be an Indian import, as mine is, with Indian packaging and support info (ie. Casio India). How that affects warranty, I don't know, but it is a genuine Casio, confirmed by validating the QR code available within the calculator's menu on Casio's website, and it is functionally identical to a "UK" version according to Google. Other than that, it works as expected, although certain operations like "6รท2(1+2)" does give 1 whereas previous versions of the fx-991 give 9, so the order of some operations is different to older versions (credit due to a previous reviewer for pointing that outโฆ I'm just confirming it). Build-wise, it's ok but feels more lightweight and plasticy than older generations.

Great calculator compact durable has all the functions you ever need would recommend

For the most basic of functionality, perfect. Minor annoyances.
Five stars, since it is a decent, and affordable calculator for highschoolers. Personally, I was looking for something more, but this got pretty much the essentials; - binary/octal/decimal/hexadecimal conversions - imaginary numbers - summation - decent display utilising a matrix dot display. I am a bit disappointed with how it does seem clunky to use at times, and the interface is rather inconsistent. (eg. ร10โฟ being one unit / seperate) Furthermore, other modes feel... limited.
