Permanet High Endurance Basketball Net

I'm very happy with this product. This net was very easy to install and seems high quality. Following the directions, I stretched the middle as hard as I could. Then I stretched the middle one more time. The ball hasn't come close to sticking. The sound of a swish isn't as nice as with regular or chain nets. However, if you want the safety of a regular net with the durability of a chain net, then this is for you!

So far they are a pain to install and the crimp and cable still came loose on some. We have had to go back out and re attach a few. Some were cut down. Most people have complained of the ball getting stuck. This happens no matter how many times you strech them. So Permanent functioning net I don't think so. I am sure lying on the ground or in a dump it will last longer. I will not buy any more of these. At this point I had to give it 1 star otherwise this review would not go thru. I was going for no stars.

This net looks awesome but the net is so tight - even after 3 months of use and multiple times up on a ladder hand stretching - that the balls always get stuck and don't drop out. Would return it for money back if able.

This product is a great idea, but getting it to open up so the ball passes through every time is a problem. I stretch and stretch it, but it seems to shrink back just enough to hold the ball again. I'm hoping next summers heat will allow it to "relax" enough and be stretched out enough so the ball passes through easily.

Trust me, the Permanet Basketball Net will never wear out. The vinyl coated aircraft cable is indestructible.Installation was a bear. A long orange piece of the cable must be threaded through each basketball rim eyelet and then the Permanet. I don't know if my rim's eyelets were smaller than most, but threading the wire was extremely difficult and some of the vinyl coating tore and frayed making installation even more difficult. I ended up using needle nose and regular pliers to pull the cable through. Also, before installation I tried stretching the net by pulling on it as recommended in the instructions. Once installed, I had to stretch the net a lot more before a ball would go through.Overall, it is a product that will outlast the basketball system it was installed on.

Loved the quality of this cable net - very easy to install and crimp the ends. Still working on the bottom of the net opening to allow the ball to drop but can deal with that - it is just a little on the side that needs to be worked open due to the stiffness of the product.

GREAT PRODUCT, very easy to install; a very durable and quality product for our community bball court. I am looking forward to "NOT" having to pack my 8 foot ladder in my pickup truck to take down and replace another torn or worn basketball net. I cannot wait to see just HOW LONG it lasts...
