Great quality and long-lasting product
This is a great high-quality product that I use every day on my horse's hooves. I live where it is very dry, and it helps their hoof wall stay oiled and conditioned with less cracking.

So far, it's my absolute fav!
First, the smell is AMAZING. Truly, it's so good! I love the application, I don't know why - but it just goes on wonderfully! His feet have not been cracking at all (he has a new farrier and we are changing his setup - so that could have a good lot to do with it as well). It dries shiny. So far, I love it more than any of the other bougie brands I've used - and I've pretty much used them all. I've made everyone at my barn try it! :) People always ask what that great smell is! Definitely will make a permanent switch.

Best hoof conditioner EVER
I bought this to use on my 5 y.o. QH/Friesian mare's hooves. Before I purchased her, she lived (mostly) outside. Although her feet were in great shape, she had some mild quarter cracks in her hooves. My farrier told me to apply a natural hoof oil that didn't contain wax or petroleum, because those two ingredients prevent absorption into the hoof. When I came across this, I instantly ordered it because not only is it natural, but it is formulated by farriers. I have been applying this to my mare's feet 2-3 days a week since it arrived, and her hooves look incredible. Her quarter cracks are 90% gone!!! My farrier recently remarked "her feet look great!" And while I do also have her on a daily Farrier's Formula supplement, I have no doubt that this hoof oil helped banish her quarter cracks.

When it arrives it was liquid and the top was loose so I lost probrably 1/3 of the product. It was a mess in the plastic bag and on the paper shipping bag

All natural, safe and great smelling ingredients.
I've used Sound Hoof Conditioner for several years after my farrier recommended it. It's great to apply it to the hoof wall right after my horse is trimmed and shod and to the coronary band and rest of the hoof in especially dry conditions. Another use I've found for Sound is to prevent snowballs forming on my shod horse's feet in snow. If I apply it to the soles and frogs, ideally every day, I notice that any snowballs that do form on his feet will easily slough off.
