no fuss , just plug and it starts to work

The switch itself is great.Please beware despite being advertised as rack mountable I was not supplied any kit and instead directed to use 2 included zip ties which wouldn’t have worked well. I ended up buying a shelf as I liked the switch but wanted it on my rack.

Easy to use and does exactly what it says. plug & play!

Bought for home use and was going to be installed in a home office. Powered on and immediately noticed fixed power fan running seemingly at full speed. I was only using POE to one AP using 9W and 8 of the ports. I hoped the fan might slow down after a while but it did not. Much louder than any other piece of computer equipment I own and would have been annoying.Would probably be ok in a busy office or a room that wasn’t being used.Otherwise seemed solidly built and probably a good switch.

Very good switch however the fan is far to noisy for a home environment.

***Buyer Beware*** despite what is clearly in the Amazon listing and printed on the box for this product there is no rack mount kit included. When highlighting this to NetGear I was at first fobbed off until I provided an image of the box content. Then I was robbed off again with they used to be available but are no longer. As such this is false advertising and you are paying for product components that are not included.Works fine as a switch but can’t be used in a rack as advertised.

Can't believe this happened. Ordered one, the rackmount brackets were missing. Returned & got a replacement. Guess what? no brackets in the second one either. Packaging list clearly says they should be there, but nada!
