The layers in the back of my head were cut too short. I needed a small round brush, to be able to blow dry that area. This little brush grips the hair, and doesn’t get tangled. My hair is coarse in texture, so I’m not sure how it would be on fine hair.

Exactly what I needed to give my hair more body!

I cannot speak to the heat transfer properties of this brush. I don’t have that type of expertise. However, I can tell you that the brush is good quality as far as I am concerned. The bristle section of the brush does not twist around something in the center Independent from the handle. In fact, it does not twist around at all.I mentioned this because another brush I got previously from a different brand did that: the top spun around independent of the bottom, so you could never count on keeping your hair in a good hold while you try to blow dry it.

Returned all the brushes in the set. There were only a few nylon bristles in each hole of the brush head. My short, curly hair, is blown out straight daily for styling & requires a brush with more bristles to grab the hair. Overall, they had comfortable handles and were nice in appearance.

Good quality for the price.

I had a 1/2 inch round brush but it was old and falling apart. No place in town had that size, I have short hair. I ordered this and it is much better made than my previous brush. It works well and is easier to hold on to that my old brush.

This is a really great brush with an awesome grip so you can easily turn the brush while styling your hair. The size is perfect. It’s not to tiny, but it’s not a regular sized brush either. It’s in between and it’s great for short hair.
