Excellent flavor, light lavender color
Purple tea is reputed to have very low amounts of caffeine and higher polyphenols than black or green tea, and more anthocyanins than blueberries. All I know is, this tea has a lovely tang and a pretty light lavender color. A big hit for me!

Purple tea for the win!
I had never tried this tea before, and was excited to support fair-trade farmers overseas, so I went for it. I was surprised at the flavor, AND that it really does last two brews! If you follow the directions, you steep your batch of tea for 4 min, and then the next for another 4 at least (they recommend 8). But I've NEVER had a loose leaf tea that could actually be brewed twice. This one can!The 2 oz bag sounds small, but I found out that they can fit a lot of tea in there for two ounces! I'm very happy with this product and look forward to trying other flavors.

Worst Tea Ever
This tea had a light brown color when brewed, not remotely purple, and tasted awful. The first brewing was comparable to the third brewing of other teas, very weak. It was astringent as well. The packaging says it is "unique and elegant." It's unique in being the worst tea I have ever sampled. Elegant? No.When I tried to return it online, the site said it was ineligible for return. I then called Amazon customer service. The representative issued a refund immediately. Kudos to Amazon for being so responsive.

Has a mild, smooth, and very pleasant aroma. It's a good tea, I like it!

Was excited about this tea, but disappointed after trying
The directions say to steep 1 tsp. There was barely any detectable flavor. Next I did 1 tbsp. Better, but not what I expected. At this rate I will get probably 1/2 of the expected 40 servings. The color...not purple. kind of a light brown. Won't buy again:(

Very nice mild tea
I like this tea. It has a nice mild flavor and it infuses the leaves twice very well. One thing I was disappointed considering it's called purple tea I expected my cup of tea would be at least a little purple. It wasn't. The liquor is a mild yellow/green. Even though, I would recommend this for you to try.

Unhappy
Not as I expected, after boiling the tea I expected it to be a pretty purple but instead, it was a dark burgundy not sure how this works, but I’m not pleased
