Biona Organic Pumpkin Seed Butter, 170g

This is my first time trying pumpkin seed butter, and I must say I am impressed. I am trying to eat more nutritious food, but I don’t really like the texture of pumpkin seeds, and that’s why I decided to try this butter. It’s made of high quality pumpkin seeds and the texture is very similar to peanut butter, as expected. Very healthy, rich in protein, magnesium, zinc, iron, vitamin A and antioxidants. You cannot go wrong with Biona 🙌

I have been buying this for almost 10 years now! Absolutely love the taste of pumpkin seed butter. Also quite like this is not too runny and fairly thick. Shame they stopped making sunflower seed butter!

Smudgy taste (sometimes l combine with another lighter spread) but thats because it's always a genuinely simple, clean product. Consistently high class quality product for many years. Appreciated*

First pot was really dry and lacked oil. Second was really tasty not too bitter just gives me bile acid reflux from the fat unfortunately. Needs mixing.

Superb pumpkin butter. This is another winner product from Biona. This pumpkin butter is organic and the only ingredients it has are pumpkin seeds. It has a smooth consistency and just the right amount of thickness. This is versatile in that it can be added to many savoury and sweet dishes (e.g., savoury crackers, oatmeal, fruit, toast, to make a pumpkin seed butter and jelly sandwich, to add to a salad dressing, muffins... the list goes on). In my case, I mainly eat this on toast with a drizzle of honey. I love the taste and think this is an excellent product. Having made my own pumpkin seed butter in the past, my view is that this product closely resembles the taste and consistency of homemade, bar the fact I added olive oil to mine. This comes in a glass jar, which I actually like because once the seed butter is gone I reuse to make dressing and to keep bits and things. The jar has 170gr. I would not say that this product is cheap but I found that for the quality of what you get, it is value for money. I would 100% recommend.

Both my kids (5 and 2) LOVE this. Fantastic alternative to peanut or other nut butters, because so many kids events or schools are nut free now so you can’t pack a nut butter sandwich for a packed lunch. It’s expensive, so I wish it came in larger pots because I think bulk buying would bring the price down a bit, but I will keep buying it because they love it! Decently spreadable texture on bread, but it’s best on toast because the warmth melts it slightly (if it’s not fully mixed through it can be a bit chunkier and therefore rip soft bread). As long as it’s fully mixed the consistency is great though, it’s firmer than peanut butter but not stiff.
